I think is because a certain % download the launcher, but never run it to install the game. I don’t want to be mean, but it bothers me that CCP want to encourage people who can’t jump that hurdle to be more of EVE’s population than they are currently.
Have to agree with this. Sure CCP might have enough people to work on both, but reading on the Eve forums about the development of a feature many might consider ‘optional’ will not generate much enthusiasm for people desire to see some of the more neglected parts of the game improved.
