First i’m wondering if this game still has a ‘bright’ future. I found an active WH corp I love and I wanna ‘invest’ in the game but only if its still good for the next few years. Any info on the state of the game? Developers and such? Is the playerbase healthy, …? I heard some bad things on reddit but its reddit so. I do realize its not the same game as 15y ago. Hoping CCP focusses more on Eve in the futurue!
Than I’d like to ask if the Skill Extractors are the best vale for ISK/Plex (Turning ISK into plex.) I was thinking of buying 100 Skill Extractors just for when the sale of MCT + Omega comes around and buy those 24 months package.
I my opinion, the game is going well. I would take a gander at EVE-Offline :: EVE-Online Status monitor to see historical data about the population. At the beginning of May, CCP will be hosting EVE Fanfest, in which they will be talking about what is coming to EVE for the next year and will be streamed on Twitch.
Game is going steady, so if you like it, why not stick aroubd for a while?
I have no idea about the best rates of obtaining PLEX, between all sorts of sales and packs it tends to change often. Do the comparison yourself for your budget!
Since Eve only has one server, you can see it listed on the bottom of the launcher, with the current population. From my casual observations, the game population jumps up Thursday to Saturday. Depending on your play style, PvPers will want to be active during the weekend to score kills. While PvEers will want to play more Monday to Wednesday. Sunday is kind of a grey area.
As for Plexing your account with skill injectors, very recent changes have been made to the accumulation of AIR skills. This was done to prevent people from abusing alts to boost one character to grandeur. You may wish to ask someone else about that aspect, as I don’t skill boost, buy plex, or omega.
However as a casual alpha player, I have made enough ISK with just 2 accounts ( 6 characters ) to state that I average about 1 to 1.5 billion ISK per month. That amount started about 4 to 6 months after I started playing. Current plex is sell at 6 million per and you need a minimum of 500 plex for 1 month omega. If you grind twice as hard as I do, you should be able to afford one month of omega for grinding. If you plan to pay for your plex, you should just buy the omega direct and get it cheaper than converting cash to plex, plex to omega. I personally have found nothing in the plex store ( that I want ) which cannot be purchase for ISK in the market. The yellow catsuit my character is wearing only cost a few million ISK for example.
I know I don’t play this game as they intended, but it is open world sandbox PvP.
