Unable to successfully load client: Invalid Token errors every time

I have tried everything:

  • I have tried clearing all settings/cache and log folders
  • I have tried a fresh uninstall & re-install with the latest version dowloaded from the official client DL page

I am able to log in all my accounts and enter the 2FA credentials for every account in the launcher and it accepts them.

But whenever I try to launch a client all I get is the client with ths error message in the screenshot:
Invalid token format…
MacBook Pro (early 2011) running High Sierra.
What gives?
