You can have all of my stuff. Every bit of it. You just need to make your way to me and try your best to take it.
holy â â â â even ccps forums are laggy lol
Build prices are lower than the prices you quoted. Plus, Enhanced Neurolink Protection Cell arenât considered probably and shouldnât be considered. Itâs the same in insurance prices.
Iâll give you another reason. Any asset above 30 b should have a lower asset safety fee compared to other items. Moreover, I think asset safety items should have a maximum limit of 10 b per item. Helps people come back to play the game.
No, she will let them drift out the tether again.
the real problem here is that ccp doesnt know how to valuate anythings actual cost in game. they tried to do the repro price for the survey scanners which is completely incorrect and now you see the same problem with supers and titans.
the MER is also based off HS repro values lol.
Hey hey - just want to add more clarity to this.
These changes will primarily affect the Avatar, which has had its valuation increased significantly higher than the others. Following this change on Monday te Leviathan and Erebus will have their asset safety fees increase a bit, with the Avatar coming down significantly and the Ragnarok coming down a little bit.
This still feels very biased. A major coalition just got its ass handed to them and CCP is adjusting the asset safety prices at the exact same time? Its feel WRONG
Seems like everyone is grabbing pitchforks and torches without really thinking on impact it may give. More shiny ships in space, maybe more players (as some people pointed out player retention), more targets trying to get out of low-sec. And downside?
âSomeone has it better than me!â - pitchoforkguy
âgrrr goonsâ - torchguy
âIâd be better CCPâ - freehandsguy
Reimbursement is kinda biased. The timing is⌠unmistakably targeting certain group. Why not extend it?
Full disclosure im ex horde and had to pay for an avatar our of Asset safety.
This is a big win for the game. For all the people complaining, how short sited are you? If they didnât do this there would be even more people quitting the game all cause of a rug pull. Its not like they got out played and are using the assest safety system to gain an advantage. If anything its still a super disadvantage cause the whole server knows where all the titans are that canât redocked.
This game is only fun with people in it.
Big blue donuts dont make it fun.
Losing your â â â â cause you have real life issues or commitments, doesnât make it fun.
This keeps whaling corps content going. Low sec high stakes. Major fleets to help people move and possible counter drop move ops. Every part of asset safety keep content in the game.
If you want to hurt players so bad they leave the game. Then maybe you should instead. We dont need less players.
We need more new players and veterans and no one wants to.i vest time and money to lose their â â â â cause somone else â â â â â â over 10,000+ players with a decision theybhad no control over or had time to react to.
Why not complain structures have damage caps and timers??? that also would hurt the game since your so gun ho to kill EVE.
Most of the ex-horde folks who have supers and titans in asset safety do not have them there because they have âreal life issues or commitments.â They have them there because they deliberately chose asset safety over fighting to extract their ships.
I think that is why there is a strong reaction to this: it smacks of a bailout of people who made a decision knowing the expected consequences of that decision.
And, yeah, I get the practical goal of not having people quit. But Eve is marketed as a hardcore game with hardcore consequences. To take this kind of argument to its logical end, should people get full reimbursement of every ship loss they experience because a player might quit if they lose their freighter (or carrier or dread or battleship, etc.)?
Full disclosure im ex horde
Big blue donuts dont make it fun.
the big blue donut was fun while u were a part of it tho right?
The timing of this change is no coincidence. This is very obviously a bailout for Horde krab brains because they (as a collective) didnât defend their assets and now have to pay out the nose to get them back. Very bad look CCP.
This is correct. None of these virtual objects are real, physical, or necessary. They are proprietary data belonging to the publisher of the game.
Players pay to rent a share of time, thirty days of access to the server where the data is hosted. Thatâs it. Thatâs what you own, the money you exchange for time. No player owns any ship or any station. Not even their characters. It all belongs to CCP. Your money is rent to access the data. Once you spend that money, itâs gone. You donât get a character or ship in exchange for your money. You get time to access the server.
ISK isnât real. Players donât own anything.
The sooner players disidentify with virtual constructs and accept the transaction with CCP for what it is, the happier and healthier the player base will be.
Giving special treatment to one set of players based on what nullbloc they belonged to at the time they chose to NOT fight⌠I think this decision sends the wrong message, I hope you reverse it.
Man.. am I going to need to go buy popcorn again? I ran out watching the one-sided slaughter of that war.
I joined right as panfam split it was definitely better afterward. And even them shutting down our escape is a epic story line twist.
Even if they cam out and said it was directly because of the major amount of asset safety from horde it wouldnât change my mind. It might help the rug pulleys, but pretty sure they got their stuff out and the stockpile of dreads would just be slowly coming out anyways due to the stockpile of isk that is un accounted for.
This does directly help the line members who wanted to fight to the end.
This does directly help CCPs bottom line and retain players.
This does not hurt anyone else directly.
It does not give an advantage to a group over another.
Interpret it as you like, but itâs more of certain events bringing attention to years old issue.
I disagree because I was actually part of it and a ton of people got their â â â â out. I saw to over 500 supers and titans get out. Most people left in rag where people who couldnât jump in and react fast enough and left behind with no support or coordination to fight a bigger coalition. You can say they didnât fight their way out but you are talking about 100 to 300 man corps (at the biggest) and split between active and afk players trying to fight a 50k coalition.
Thatâs not a fight its a slaughter. People did sneak their â â â â out. But people who couldnât drop what they where doing due to work. Middle of work week for Americans. Where left behind and trapped.
They didnât game the system it helped them not lose everything cause they had a job.
And how did it screw you over how did it deny you anything? Or do you just like winning fights when you out number the enemy only or go home if out formed?
Edit to add.
Oh yea eve is not marketed as hard-core that is frontier actually.
Delete all Supers.
/debate
Why is there no upkeep cost for capitals? titans and supers should be expensive to maintain, dreads less, carriers cheapest.
You shouldnt even be able to undock them if upkeep is not paid. Upkeep would be also for unassembled capitals hulls, as it still needs space and this kind of space should be very expensive inside stations when it comes to maintenance.
Corporations could use tax to pay it and hold them all as the strategic resource.
Tie the upkeep to ship and add button beside where insurance is in ship info. Not paid? No undock, no asset safety.
