I mean, sure:
That’s just the base price though. My own valuation works like this:
Base price:
124,286,691,923.23 ISK
Base price with research costs, based on 3.5% system index and 1% facility tax:
139,782,753,502,97 ISK
This is based on current cost calculation. Realistically, it was 4-5% system index and the costs were higher during most of my research. This collection was a value store for me but thx CCP
Then, implementing an account of the cost of total research/invention hours invested, assuming perfect scheduling, based on a 5mil PLEX price and 33 research slots per account, we reach the number of:
175,757,568,379.16 ISK
I then add a 2.5% convenience fee for having collected all of these in one place and taking the risks to do so. Trade hub margins on these are usually much higher anyway.
180,151,507,588.64 ISK
However, we know lower tiered blueprints are often selling at a loss, even (partly) researched ones, which is why I’m willing to cut off all blueprints below 50mil in researched valuation and reduce their price to 66% of valuation. That puts:
32,711,495,209.68 ISK * 0.66 = 21,589,586,838.39 ISK
So
180,151,507,588.64 - 32,711,495,209.68 + 21,589,586,838.39 ISK
…leave us with:
169,029,599,217.35 ISK
Which is the point I would start an auction at. Rounded down to 165Bil. I’m just wondering if anyone can share their own ways of valuating their BPO collections?
