Yo so basically I need to join a corp and so something to do with finance ie if your doing indi i have to find out how much of y you need to make x and make a profit it’s to show how I can put my buisness gcse into use in other areas
Hmu in discord if you think you need a break from doing economics or indi researching and let someone else take over
I’m 15 and currently studying Business GCSE. I’m looking to put what I’m learning into practice by gaining experience in a organisation. I’m especially interested in finance, budgeting saving isk etc and tracking costs, and I’m keen to learn while contributing. Additionally it’s good for my hw where I can to show the practicality of the gcse.
don’t have formal security clearance yet and I’m not GOON certified I haven’t flown with Goonswarm. I also don’t have experience with three phase ganking.
That said I’m organised I don’t mess about with other people’s assets and I’m happy to start with limited access. I’m mainly looking to help with tracking ISK assets or logistics related tasks while I learn how your corp does things I can probably grab a vouch if needed
This isn’t a recruitment forum. Also, what makes you think that going “HMU I want to do something with economics” is going to entice people to invite you in this competitive game about trust and competition, other than people trying to take advantage of you. Put in some effort, use the recruitment forum, perhaps the EVE discord.
I already flagged this thread for being in the wrong section. And yeah – @Julieus_Seizures there is a proper section for recruitment on the forums. Don’t just post your stuff randomly.
Don’t be discouraged by the sour ladies on the forums. A serious corporation is very much capable of not giving you access to sensitive wallets while leveraging your business skills to a meaningful degree. As a businessman I do not approve of:
Fearmongering rhetoric about corporate exploitation. You are not a child anymore, you can say no to things you don’t want to do.
this nonsense about GOON certification. Please be aware these people are just roleplaying. That’s not wrong, but it can come across as weird and clique-ish when interacting with new players.
The idea that corporate membership woulld requite a paper effort on your part. This is mostly for paranoid nullsec entities that are trying to keep out spies. Most casual groups don’t have such policies at all because they have fewer reasons to (care).
Look, I’m not trying to be mean or pick a fight here, but I think you’re taking the Eve life just a bit too serious. The kid was just asking for suggestions or recommendations. Why are people so hateful?
