I was thinking 08 when I joined till 14 when the whales took over. That’s just my theory, but the game does have some or at least used to have some high end players who can afford it. CCP can’t brag about its demographics anymore.

I also joined in 08, and for the life of me…i dont recall any formula. Too long ago for me to remember. I guess i didnt worry about the little stuff, still dont.

Well, they had one (since before '08) and are getting another for PVE…so at least FC think they need one. Just because miners get ‘some’ love doesn’t mean they are pushing the playstyle more…it’s like HS people when Null sec gets an expansion after years of HS getting the ‘love’

It’s mostly just players who want to chill. Yes the last expansion was focused on mining, but mining was in a bad state and needed a kick before prices got too crazy

Back then, neither did I. But after I lost all my corp m8’s and the numbers dropped in half, I started to think about it. I got a bad taste outta null both times I tried it. Rather use my own talents rather be sent to the front with incompetent leaders.
If you just want isk, do what I did and get 3 good acct’s and creatively acquire a decent C2 wh and do pi. Great isk for little effort. I don’t think it will cover your subs but still a challenge of sorts.

Edit; I forgot hubris, no good pilot goes into battle thinking they’re going to lose the fight. Its up to the individual pilot to make the difference in this game. No “Hun out of the sun” if you pay attn.
