What are you using your Odysseus for?

Everyone went straight for the 4B+ killmail…

24k dmg, 12 kills, lower dmg that all T2 ships in the same fleet, and T3 cruisers also.

Two command boosters slots anyway can be of great help to a fleet.

Base HP is a bit low, refitting service you mean for other members of your same fleet?

That is some really nice use for an Odysseus if so.

Tremendous.

ty for the contribution.

Yeah thanks for showing that you have no idea of PvP. Dealing damage is not the purpose of that ship in a fleet.

Well, it can be refitted to a more robust sniper ship, with its sentry drones, but would lose all the defence. Still. It was just one. I guess if someone had time and space to refit to sniper ship, it could be done. It’s in her DNA..

If you want to bring a covert sniper to a fleet there are plenty of better cheaper options to do so. I like the Tengu myself.

That is not what you bring an expensive Odysseus for though. The Odysseus has it’s own strengths which have already been mentioned: a huge bay for cap sticks, refitting for the whole fleet, a fleet hangar so people can grab modules they want to refit and 75k SMB for extra ships you can swap to, like an Interdictor. And command bursts, armor bonused (or expedition command bursts in case you need that, but that doesn’t have much PvP use).

The Odysseus is the first covert ship that can bring bubbles along like that on a blops fleet, as interdictors and heavy interdictors cannot take covert bridges. And in other covert fleets those ships also cannot warp along unnoticed either.

On mine i have 56k ehp with reactive hardener and rapid repair command burst and dual rep at 92 ehp/sec with two corelum c type meds

That’s probably a good active fit. But if someone is looking for a gankable killmail in high-sec… (just due to the 4-billion ISK hull value as a base).

Yes, that’s assuming your prey hasn’t lived in J space for years. You will not catch me unaware even in hisec. Also, it is not toothless.

Absolutely. In high-sec it’s not so much a question of being “toothless” as the amount of firepower a half dozen catalysts or so can quickly bring to bear… Most players that get ganked for the first time are generally pretty shocked at how quickly they die…

Lol yes, what would you do if local filled with names and someone pops into your anom?

This is a covops ship i have a safe in every system I goto. Takes a minute or two, you gotta be faster than i am paranoid. I cloak up and move off if more than 4 ships come into local. If you get me, GF yo. This is EVE. Been here a long time, lost alot of ships, gonna lose more. NOT goin down easy. Good day sir.

92 ehp/s doesn’t sound too good though?

Are you missing a digit there? 920 ehp/s with two repairers sounds more reasonable.

As a fitting experiment I had been looking how far I can reasonably push the active repairs of an Odysseus. It’s an expensive ship so a bit of bling is to be expected, and with it’s huge 50k m3 cap stick bay it’s very doable to run two medium armor repairers stable as shown in this (incomplete) fit:

1233 ehp/s cold, 1534 hot against omni damage.

Edit: Or another blingier fit with pod, over 3k ehp/s:

ship spinning.

Waiting for the price to drop…

i doubt it will all that much, tbh.

those sister componants cost the majority of the build.

I’m honestly not sure what I’d do with it. I already have a Babaroga sitting around collecting dust…
