What do you think of ganking?

It’s ludicrous to point out that people can have negative emotions? Is you perspective that emotions don’t exist, being themselves a ludicruous concept? What do you even mean by such a statment?

That’s neither here nor there. The fact remains that people get emotional about movies, TV shows, video games of all genres, or just hearing other people’s opposing opinions. Your opinion of those people (which would include yourself, along with 99.999% of humanity) is not relevant to the simple fact that people can react negatively to stuff they see, hear, and things we do to them.

More avoidance via silly red herrings.

The fact that you consistently tuck tail and run from addressing every point directed at you is a clear indication that you are fully aware you’ve lost this dispute. I accept your de facto capitulation. You are dismissed, Gloria.

You don’t have any points…just inane rantings. Thus far on this thread you have not made a single point to which the answer cannot justifiably be a resounding ’ so frikin what ?’

Seriously…you want to come onto one of the toughest games in existence and weep that some noob lost 2 pence worth of Venture ? If people need to run off crying to Mommy every time they have a mishap in EVE…maybe they should stick to flower arranging or Origami.

Nobody is forcing anyone to play a game where they might…God forbid…lose a ship. Especially those too immature to cope with it.

How dare you suggesting such a dangerous activity? What if they are allergic to a flower? Or they get themselves a papercut? They would be probably traumatized for life, because feelings are real. It’s ridiculous.

If someone is having tears over losing anything in any game. That person has a maturity problem. I am not sure what part of that you are not understanding. But have at it.

Again your entire premise is ludicrous. That anyone should care whether a player is having tears over losing a ship. In a game where ships are blown up regularly. Go onto zkill and you can see ships being lost almost every minute. You ridiculous premise that a player is going to be immature and cry and that others should care. For those that can not handle that their ships are blown out of the sky. The rage quit post happens.

You can do a search to what people comment to the OP rage quitting. Zero sympathy. Some try to get the the OP that it is nothing personal. That it is a learning experience. Not the end of the world.

This whole thread is ridiculous. For the rage quitter. It comes down to not being mature enough to handle losing ship(s). In a game that a player is going to lose ships.

For those of us that stay. We accept the risks and when a ship is made into a pretty fireball in the sky. We sit back learn what went wrong. What went right. What to correct. How much more experience is needed.

Each of us accept the risks in undocking. Each of us knows that we may come back in a capsule or get podded. For those that do not have the maturity.. A future rage quit post might just be in their future.

Okay. So you say they have a maturity issue. So what? They are still hurt by the actions of other players, low maturity level or not. That’s the only point I’m making right now. And your statement does not detract from that fact.

So a person is silly, weak-minded, dumb, ugly, stinky, overweight, immature, poor, etc. etc. What does that have to do with whether or not they can feel anguish?

The same strawman. I’ve never said you should care. If I have, quote me. Let me guess. You’re not going to quote me and ignore my request that you back up the words you put in my mouth.

Here are actual quotes from me.

Please quote me where I contradict myself. I won’t hold my breath.

The worst thing that happens when you lose your ship or structure is that you have to decide whether or not to buy a new one. If so, you spend the ISK (if you have that much) and get a replacement. If you don’t have the ISK, you decide whether it’s worth it to grind for that again (or spend money on PLEX).

That’s all. It’s perfectly acceptable to get upset at the frustration of it all, but honestly, that’s the absolute worst case scenario- having to buy a new one. That’s why I don’t mind losing my ship- but I won’t go actively seeking out conflict. I will replace my ship, but I’d rather not have to. It’s that simple. That’s why I don’t fly them anywhere near Jita. If I have to go there, I’ll tank the hell out of a freighter or fit a cloaked ship with speed and agility.

If you’re over 50 jumps away from Jita, you’re probably not going to see a lot of PvP unless you dip into low or null.

WOW! That wind you feel is my point going over your head. At this point I am going to say this bluntly. If a person is having a tears or is angry over losing a bunch of 1’s and 0’s. Thay have a them problem, it is not anyone else problem.

It is not a strawman argument. It sums up your entire premise. And I am not putting any words in your mouth. It seems to me that you have a problem with the written english language. If English is not your first language it is understandable. So let me be clear here.. Your premise in my opinion is Ridiculous and Ludicrous.

We don’t.

No one is overweight in this game. That’s not a customization option. Neither is body odor.

Well yeah. Fair enough. The pods do get stinky quite quickly.

Nothing has went over my head: You don’t care about their feelings. Okay. What does that have to do with the simple fact that they have feelings for you to not care about?

Rather you care is irrelevant. The only point I’m making is that it can hurt people emotionally. Which I’m assuming you agree with, rather you are too immature to acknowledge or not.

It is a strawman, which you de facto admit. That’s why you leave out/ignored all the proof I laid out showing you how big of a strawman you built and you cannot provide a single quote where I said you should care about anyone’s feelings. So it’s clear you understand fully that you are putting words in my mouth and opt to consciously, knowingly and intentionally lie about what I’ve said. Seeing as you lack the maturity (like all the crybabies crying when they lose a ship) to simply admit when you are wrong; You’re dismissed. I have no more time for bad faith actors.

Exactly.
If you had left it there, you’d have won the forums.
