My case is that emotions exist.
You’re stating I’ve destroyed that case (i.e. emotions aren’t real).
Ergo, the only conclusion anyone can come to is that you don’t believe in the existence of emotions.

But I’m the ludicrous one? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Your comments are ludicrous. If one does not have the emotional maturity of being able to handle losing a virtual ship. That is nothing more than light and some photons. A lot of 1’s and 0’s. Not only is this game not for that person.

I would argue that even checkers is beyond that person ability to handle. Even in checkers once that piece is removed from the board it is not coming back. Seriously, if a person is taking any game that seriously that they are upset with losing something. That person really needs to ask themselves why? And perhaps grow up.

Nah, mate…you clearly wouldn’t know an ‘ergo’ if the 2000km wide Ergo Mark V showed up and rained down fire. Leave Latin words for the grown-ups.

It’s ludicrous to point out that people can have negative emotions? Is you perspective that emotions don’t exist, being themselves a ludicruous concept? What do you even mean by such a statment?

That’s neither here nor there. The fact remains that people get emotional about movies, TV shows, video games of all genres, or just hearing other people’s opposing opinions. Your opinion of those people (which would include yourself, along with 99.999% of humanity) is not relevant to the simple fact that people can react negatively to stuff they see, hear, and things we do to them.

More avoidance via silly red herrings.

The fact that you consistently tuck tail and run from addressing every point directed at you is a clear indication that you are fully aware you’ve lost this dispute. I accept your de facto capitulation. You are dismissed, Gloria.

You don’t have any points…just inane rantings. Thus far on this thread you have not made a single point to which the answer cannot justifiably be a resounding ’ so frikin what ?’

Seriously…you want to come onto one of the toughest games in existence and weep that some noob lost 2 pence worth of Venture ? If people need to run off crying to Mommy every time they have a mishap in EVE…maybe they should stick to flower arranging or Origami.

Nobody is forcing anyone to play a game where they might…God forbid…lose a ship. Especially those too immature to cope with it.

How dare you suggesting such a dangerous activity? What if they are allergic to a flower? Or they get themselves a papercut? They would be probably traumatized for life, because feelings are real. It’s ridiculous.

If someone is having tears over losing anything in any game. That person has a maturity problem. I am not sure what part of that you are not understanding. But have at it.

Again your entire premise is ludicrous. That anyone should care whether a player is having tears over losing a ship. In a game where ships are blown up regularly. Go onto zkill and you can see ships being lost almost every minute. You ridiculous premise that a player is going to be immature and cry and that others should care. For those that can not handle that their ships are blown out of the sky. The rage quit post happens.

You can do a search to what people comment to the OP rage quitting. Zero sympathy. Some try to get the the OP that it is nothing personal. That it is a learning experience. Not the end of the world.

This whole thread is ridiculous. For the rage quitter. It comes down to not being mature enough to handle losing ship(s). In a game that a player is going to lose ships.

For those of us that stay. We accept the risks and when a ship is made into a pretty fireball in the sky. We sit back learn what went wrong. What went right. What to correct. How much more experience is needed.

Each of us accept the risks in undocking. Each of us knows that we may come back in a capsule or get podded. For those that do not have the maturity.. A future rage quit post might just be in their future.
