What is the difference between confidence and confidentiality?

Their error was to write ‘with’ instead of ‘in’ the strictest confidence.

Ok, if you are in the strictest way confident that that is what they mean. We will treat the matter with the utmost confidentiality then.

Confidence in this form means information held in secret.
Its adjective form is confidential.

Confidentiality is the property of being confidential.

For this I love you a tiny bit more than I did before. : - )

I’m glad they’re going to treat my opinions with confidence. Even though I’m going to write a tl;dr about alll of my opinions and post them here in GD.
