Starting about a week ago, my ship would turn into a bright orange color. Some time station as well when I undocked. I don’t think I see if on other things. When it happened, it happened really quick, lasted may be 10-20 sec and color went back to normal.
AMD Radeon and main board chipset and drivers are current revision.
Just random overactive lighting from some light source in your vicinity. It goes away after a while or when you warp away.
It’s a somewhat common occurrence since CCP started to use their smart lighting system.
Your ship is overheating from environmental effects, its hull is gonna melt any moment then the reactor explodes along with your ship. Eject immediately and warp away in your capsule. 
Oh, how long ago was that? I just came back to the game about 4 months ago. But I just noticed these about 2 weeks maybe ago.
Ha, that was my first thought, something was about to melt. Then I was like, no way. I was sitting 120KM plus, sitting on 0.0m/s not even a scratch. Rats could not do anything to me while my sentries pick them off from 120KM away. Only my ship that was flashing bright orange; nothing else around me or my drones or them rats.
Not a big issue though as its only lasted for a few sec.
It’s been happening at least since the Legion expansion. For me, they only happen in very specific combat sites and sometimes on star gates and stations.
This is April 2024 and my poor Providence is melting.
Coincidentally we both were in Amarr ships? But then again it does happen to the station as well when I undocked. Another thing is, do you recall if that screenshot was taken in Amarr space? I think it was, but I could be wrong. Next time I go somewhere else I will see. Currently I spent 95% of my time in and around Amarr space.
Warp drive overloaded?
I had it on a Loki and on random Large Collidable Objects in combat sites as well.
