I used to know to the heart the lyrics of this song… yet, on the other hand, the “ugly duckling” from my class at 15 years old was a girl called Sara and this song was used and abused against her. FAI, the refrain, “Sara, Sara dulce Sara” (Sara, Sara sweet Sara) became “Sara, Sara cutre Sara” (Sara, Sara seedy Sara). :woman_facepalming:t4:
