What music are you listening today?

Yea… I was joking anyway, I don’t listen to any music at work. Also, I’m married.

The fact that you zoomed in on my comment, desperate to use it to try to insult me, says more about you than me.

Get a life.

A song that is practically synonymous with the game Vampire : The Masquerade - Bloodlines. One of my favourites…

Till Lindemann sings “Mein Herz brennt”, Sven Helbig on Piano.

A somewhat broken Translation to English:

Now, dear children, pay close attention
I’m the voice from the pillow
I’ve brought you something
Ripped it out of my chest
With this heart I have the power
To blackmail the eyelids
I’ll sing until the day awakens
A bright glow in the firmament
My heart burns

They come to you in the night
Demons Ghosts Black Fairies
They crawl out of the basement shaft
And will see under your bedding

Now, dear children, pay close attention
I’m the voice from the pillow
I’ve brought you something
A bright glow in the firmament
My heart burns
My heart burns

They come to you in the night
And steal your little hot tears
They wait until the moon awakens
And push them into my cold veins

Now, dear children, pay close attention
I’m the voice from the pillow
I’ll sing until the day awakens
A bright glow in the firmament
My heart burns
My heart burns

He looks quiet normal when performing live. :grinning:

Mecano - Por la cara (1988)

Sweet Jesus… I had completely forgotten about this one. It was 1988, Mecano was a behemoth of Spanish pop, Spain just had joined the (then) EEC, we were on our way to organize Olympic Games and a Universal Exposition in just 4 years (1992), and everything was bloody possible “por la cara”, just for daring. And I was 14 and had no idea of what was in store for me. :tipping_hand_woman:t4:

“Por la cara”, literally “by the face” is a Spanish idiom abridged from “por mi cara bonita”, (“because of my pretty face”, just in Spanish is not as litheral as in English), and this abridged idiom is used roughly in the same situations as English use “just because” when something doesn’t follows the previous or as "(x) for nothing), as in something obtained through audacity.
