Why is FC giving 75 PLEX to anybody that rolls a new alpha and grind it to death?
They can’t be that stupid, I think they gonna increase the OMEGA PLEX price, so they need to create a fact. I never saw so many multiboxers around.
WILD. I’m so not going to farm those PLEX, I have better things to do.
Same with the election event. I took part in that one across multiple characters because I cared about the elections, but one could have easily farmed those PLEX, and I’m sure a lot of guys did.
I’m not interested in this event. Not worth it to grind, but many probably will do to farm those PLEX.
Fenris has been uncharacteristically generous with PLEX in-game lately. Not just during the last 2 events.

75 PLEX is ~370M.
Even if you count in all the other rewards like the Praxis and some boosters, it’s still not over the top… While doing the Event, I probably lose money compared to what I could do on a skilled ISK-grinding char.
I really don’t understand people’s issue with this.
Completing the entire reward track nets you around 600mil with plex and all.
Rolling a new alpha and grinding it for hours is incredibly inefficient for any half decent omega player who could easily net the equivalent in isk in a couple of hours or less.
Yeah thats like 2 hours worth of ISK, and its going to take a lot longer than 2 hours to farm so not worth it
I have to agree, 370 million is a lot of ISK to a new player. However I am over two years and alpha. I can make 370 million within a day here. Of course Fenris wants actual “new bodies” not old vets.
Fenris would like the plex spent in the store. Not much one can get in the plex store for 75. Boots maybe? Some of the new players might buy more plex to get omega? If you are new to this game and reading this, omega runs $20 while the plex is $25. So 75 plex is a 15% discount on it, you would still pay more than the $20.
They can always donate it to the cause.

Yeah but my point is that it’s basically the same amount of plex that’s been in every event track for the last year and OP is posting about it like it’s unusual or suspicious.

So you both bragging about you always knew some random farmer can make an alpha per day and get 85 PLEX with a drone boat running lvl 1s, and somehow I’m the idiot?
Did I get the message right? Just checking…
They have announced back when PLEX got global market that it should become a more fluent currency instead of just being stockpiled. That means they are making it easier to obtain and players will spend it more because of that.
So far I can see that it’s working. My skin sales are going pretty decent since the Gallente elections. Players have more PLEX and they are willing to spend it. I’m spending it on making skins, my buyers are spending it to buy skins.
That’s about the shape of it, yeah. “yOu cOUlD fARm tHe EVeNt TrAcK wITh AlPHaS” is a galaxy-brained observation that gets made pretty much every time there’s an event track.
Here’s someone on reddit making the same observation just last event.
So basically, if I pull the calculator and 85 x 30 = 2550 PLEX. Free, for reasons.

It’s not free. It costs time. As noted up-thread, the amount of time it takes means it’s not actually an attractive farming option for anyone with a functioning brain.
The solution is very simple - go ahead and farm it. No one is stopping you. I already told you what’s the exact angle and confirmed from my experience that it’s working. I don’t know what else are you expecting from this thread.
