Why would someone pay 250% of appraisal price, and also trust you to move it after just giving you the ISK?
This isn’t even a scam, this is just bad business.
Appraised value is based on Forge market data… very very few people are going to sell supers on the market, thereby skewing the value. I would assume this seller would move before contracting the ship, but that is an assumption.
That makes sense, I apologize if I am wrong here. It just stood out to me, why even include the appraisal if it is so skewed? Why not just include a screenshot of the fit. If people have to do additional research anyway to really figure whether or not that is a reasonable sell price. Because I have to tell you, unless I already knew what the going rate for that super was, just seeing the price ask vs the appraisal would make me skip out immediately.
