The large fish that ate the 13 foot Great White might have been the shark that was discovered at the bottom of the ocean. The shark that looks like a giant salamander.
The 60 foot shark in the video could very easily consume a 13 foot Great White shark. The 60 shark might move up and down continental shelves, to a point where the water begins to change that the 60 couldnt stay in for long periods of time. Great Whites roaming the upper threshold of the 60 either mating, giving birth are just roaming then become prey for the 60 in one gulp. Remember sharks attack and tear. The sensor would have stayed the same temperature as the carcass slowly sank to the bottom after the shark had been killed due to chunks being taken from the shark by the larger predator.
The sensor was tracked for 8 days at 76 degrees, the inside of the stomach. There is no known ocean life that can consume a 13 foot Great White. A fish that big would have been detected.
Wasn’t a squid as the sensor would have been broken off due to the tentacles wrapping around shark. The temperature would not have instantly changed either as the squid would not have been able to consume the sensor section and would have eaten around it.
One possibility could be a Titan Tuna. Are tuna able to grow large enough to consume a 13’ Great White?
