Yes, that 2B ship can huff gas just as well as two wooping venture that clock to less than half a mill when put together.
So sure, it’s a “good solo gas huffer” the same way a dreadnaught fitted with gas harvester is a good solo gas huffer.
If you REALLY think sitting on the most gankfriendly spots in the galaxy, the gas sites, with a 2B battlecruiser hull that takes 10 seconds to warp out then you have literally no idea wtf you are talking about.
Yeah, there’s no way I’d take a 2B ISK ship into a WH to go sniffing gas. Ventures are free. And since they’re free, the construction has to be haphazard which hopefully means that some of that awesome gas will leak into my POD!
With most other people I do not have that problem.

A dreadnought has terribly low gas huffing yield. The Odysseus has by far the best solo gas huffing yield in the game together with one of the largest gas holds in the game. It’s simply a good gas huffer, if expensive.
Gas sites can be found in multiple places in the game. Not every one of them is ‘the most gankfriendly spots in the galaxy’. Null sec too has gas sites, you know!
While null sec is dangerous too, it’s significantly less dangerous for a ship that can simply cloak up when danger appears, like the Odysseus.

As someone that have farmed for years SoE LP via level 4 security missions I’d like to know your secret, because even the best missions, like anomic burners will 20,000 and you don’t come accross that many of them.

I also know how to ignore social queues like your insults on purpose, and continue to press the conversation as if you are a normal conversational partner to see how more of a fool you make of yourself. It’s fun.
You need SOE faction standing > 5 and then you just cherry pick and blitz the burners. Really all there is to it. You will periodically have to blitz a few normal missions when you get a long string of bad pulls. If I decline 4 in a row, I start keeping an eye on my agent standing and if it gets low, I grab something like Damsel, Zazzmataz, Recon, etc.
You are the one that think using a 2 battlecruiser as a gas huffer is a good idea.
You are the guy that pretend to “slowboat” in hacking site with your T3, and that it’s comparable in any way with a battlecruiser.
You are the one that think 2B is “a little expensive” for a ship you’d use to do explorations sites ships a quarter of that price would already clear without any problem.

Thats what we do with our organization that primarily fixes standings for others, we have high enough faction standings we can chain decline without hurting our faction standing…and getting the agents fixed is easy.
After one interaction you already called me a liar for seemingly no reason at all when I said I use a T3C for exploration, even though this is an easily verifiable fact. You did so because I said something about the new ship that you didn’t like, which shows a failure to have a normal conversation when you grasp for ad hominems instead of correct arguments.
You then sarcastically suggest gas huffing in a Dreadnought, as if that dismisses the fact that the Odysseus is almost 40% faster at huffing gas than the next best solo ship and is by far the highest yield solo gas huffer in the game, if a bit expensive. And then you attempt to make fun of me when I point out you’re making yourself look ridiculous.
You then fail to realize that gas exists also in parts of space where people can easily cloak up when danger appears, which makes the 2b price tag much less of an issue as you can easily keep it alive.
