You don’t have sufficient ingame experience to have any kind of valid opinion about botting. You should try to play the game first before you tell everyone else.
The evidence says otherwise. That’s why youre always quick to reply to my posts with stupid troll comments. Aren’t you a corp leader? You sure don’t act like one. Not on the forums anyway.
What do you mean, the ‘evidence’ suggests otherwise?
If you have evidence of botting, make a support ticket.
It sounds to me like you need a larger tinfoil hat.
Learn to read and get back to me. I dont have enough crayons to explain it to you
Don’t bother teaching them. GDS (Ganking Derangement Syndrom) is nearly impossible to cure.
Based on this topic, I’m figuring out how to one shot an interceptor using a cheap thrasher.
Seems, Suicide Ganking can be applied to lowsec campers also.
Either way this is another example of inconsistent mechanic.
It would be much healthier if it would work the same as Rate of Fire.
It’s based on server ticks and latency.
Why are you going through Ahbazon anyway? there’s at least one other way around and in tests I’ve found Ahbazon to be no quicker* due to all the faffing about you need to do to hit the gate at an angle to avoid the fun.
*based on journeys between Jita and Syndicate Nullsec.
you have to also keep in mind the server tick, anything under 2s, while be insta warp, still rely on the tick be in your favour; also you have to keep in mind your ship turning before warp, it might not seem much but it does a little bit of extra time before warp.
Purely aesthetic in case of warping from a halt, like when you appear in system after jumping through a stargate and being gatecloaked (invulnerable) for 60 seconds. The align time shown in the fitting window shows how long it takes for the ship to enter warp from a complete halt.
I have reported some blatant botters, others have reported the same person with videos and its taken weeks before action was taken, in the meantime they left because we just kept killing them over and over. Outside of null, that kind of player driven enforcement is a little bit more difficult.
The interceptor that catches Him is also a juicy target. If someone could kill it 1st before He dies in a cheap ship.
This is correct.
Most values shown in the UI are rounded, either up or down.
A 1.00 could be anything from 0.9950 rounded up to 1.0049 rounded down. And anything above 1.0000 -so about 50% of those numbers- will result in a 2 second align time.
And this is assuming no lag. Nothing is perfectly safe, even a 0.99s align time ship.
didn’t know that, thank you
The other possibility is that you were bumped, or hit something ( maybe even deliberately put there ) while aligning.
You can reduce the risk of that by entering Ahbazon indirectly…and not gate to gate. For example enter it from a bookmark at an angle to the gate.
And by what? Neither wrecks or drones are able to bump player ships afaik.
That has absolutely no impact on where you appear on the other side.
Approach angles only dictate where you land in the system you are currently in. Once you go through the gate you’re at the mercy of where the gate shits you out.
