1s align is not a guarantee. Fly safe o7
1.0 = 2 sec align. It’s only 1 sec if it states to be lower than 1.0 (and then some extra just to be sure) meaning that if you would have added one more low grade implant you’d have been fine. Assuming there were no mistakes or lag spikes.

Did you actually have it in Propulsion Mode ? You only get the 1.10 second align with that…otherwise you get 3.3 seconds.
Also, you really didn’t need four expensive Serpentis inertial stabilisers, as it was under 2 seconds with just one. That would have freed up the other three low slots.
Some told me 1.00 is 1.00, so I need 0.99s?
I had an agility implant to hit that 1.00

The main heartache is not the isk loss, but I was so happy I thought I have found the holy grail to waltz thru Ahbazon safely. Apparently it wasn’t so.
technically yes but I prefer to add a bit extra to account for latency just to be on the safe side. Looking at the number I’m going to assume you ran 2 low grades (the Alpha and Beta), either swap the Alpha for a mid-grade or add another low grade Gamma.
Are you saying if I get 0.99 or below i’ll be 100% safe from instalock or just a better chance? I could get like 0.8s with full Nomad implant.
Assuming everything works out fine, the server or node doesn’t lag, you don’t mess up or DC, yes. But you don’t need a full set, just enough to get below the threshold. Don’t add value for no reason.
An EM-705 will also do the trick for you btw, but that has higher cybernetics requirements.
I use Nomads on my BR alt and get sub 2 seconds, which is more than enough for high sec, and for that I need a full set. beyond that there’s very little need. Like this:

If its 1.00 in the simulaor it can actually be 1.001 and then its essentially 2. So ideally you want to se 0.99 in the simulator but i could be wrong.
or Maybe you just bump on a wreck they previously killed.

If a 1 sec align time can be instalocked. Anything can be possible now.
Smart bomb camp?
Nope. You’ll never get through safely because gate camps use bots. That’s the only way the ship can select you, target, and activate the module that fast. Anything slower than instant will always lose.

I’ve never lost a Hecate, but I also run one with about 20k EHP (no implants).
This is a good example of how Glenduil might benefit from actually trying PvP for himself, instead of just whining about how unfair it is.
