also if you really want stuff like chat , fixed permanently…how about 2 weeks server downtime?

You are wrong, though. The Chat system is new. It was programmed only a few years ago and is independent from the old spaghetti code.
I would not mind at all. If things worked properly afterwards. Remember, though, the last time CCP fixed the chat earlier this year, it did not take 2 weeks of downtime. It only took some weeks of actual developer work and 1 short downtime. Will say, CCP can do things sort of properly but for some inexplicable reason they keep breaking them a short while later again.

On the Bright Side I had a look at Star Citizen and it has come along a lot in the years since I last looked at it.
Might not be finished but at this point it is looking in a better state than EvE.
