Its not DDOS, it an excuse for bad server setup. DDOS is saved for a critical time, not wasted on server reboots. Naughty CCP.

16 year old game, with changing staffā¦most people who wrote the codes from 10 years agoā¦dont even work at ccp anymoreā¦it started as a niche game with not too much fundingā¦
unlike blizzard who put a couple of billions into wow when it came out in 2006 ( ?)
so eve is established on an unpolished very wobbly baseā¦and every addition and changes, make that whole construct of spaghetti/legacy code even more instableā¦
only solution is, live with itā¦or play something else.

No, why should we? It took them only a short downtime to completely mess up EVE for everyone in the name of āfighting botsā. Now, if you read between the lines in the Blackout Concludes dev blog, they accuse everyone of being bots. In addition to that they also broke the chat when they rectified their mistake from 66 days ago. They do not need a break, they need better work ethics and quality assurance.

Self entitled man babies all upset over the black out ending I guess. Maybe some jail time would set a few of them straight. I wonder if they could handle it? It does cost a bit to put an end to something like this.
