this is just a transition period as Tranquility is converted from running on electricity to more sustainable capsuleer tears, do your part for the environment and cry moar.

Just 2 quick tips:
#1: Don’t bother reporting your location. We all play on Tranquility. That’s the best part of EVE, that we’re all together, from all over the world, which while it is glorious, it also means that if Tranquility goes down, we are all kicked out.
#2: This easy trick helped me log in last night long enough to recover my drones and dock up. Chances are it will work for you too. If you are in space, JUST GET DOCKED. It isn’t a fix while the attack is underway, it’s like me throwing you a tow chain to save your bird so you don’t have to wait for CCP to find your ticket in the avalanche of tickets the support department will be under.
in the search window, type cmd
then when the command prompt comes up, just ipconfig/flushdns
Press enter
Log in and dock. And stay docked.

DDoS attack – it’s coordinated attempt to reach some address from different numerous addresses, so, there is no any particular IP, from where it’s going. All that sh1tload is distributed through plenty IPs. Study the subject before speaking.

Then this is not about CCP problems but about your connexion.
I’ve playing ~3 to 5 hours a day without trouble during the period of time you are speaking about, except for yersterday and today.

you all keep repeteing that mantra like some kind mantra that still holds true…i for one do believe that the equipment does indeed exist to resolve this problem…but the “officials” wave their hands and say nothing can be done…because jursidiction or wtf ever aka they just dont have the balls to do anything to protect us so we must protect the game ourselves if we must. post the dam IP’s

Yes, make a pancake already on the server so that the server sends commands to DDoS requests. “shutdown and flashall”
It is pretty funny how so much of the player base thinks this is some player or someone specifically targeting CCP. This is a mass attack on the DNS hubs and it is the hosting companies in each geographical region that are having issues. So what ends up happening is when your ISP connects to the net stuff like discord etc most of that is hosted locally or globally to prevent these types of failures. Unfortunately TQ is in one location and if anywhere along that path has issues and/or timeouts you lose your stable connection to the Eve Server. Other systems are also being affected and DNS domains are dropping in and out. I’m pretty sure CCP is just as pissed as we all are about this.

Yes. You should just run a tracer program. It would probably also help if you were to hack the mainframe.
For extra speed in fixing this problem I would probably upload a targeted virus to their base-camp. I hear the ones that have a flashing skull-and-crossbones on all the screens in their lair’s control room are the most efficient at boosting the flux capacitor when back-hacking pirates.
