Tranquility experienced a large DDoS attack which affected connectivity and game performance starting at 17:30 UTC today.
The cluster has now been stabilized and we are currently monitoring performance.

17:15 UTC - TRANQUILITY HAS BEEN HIT BY A LARGE SCALE DDOS ATTACK
17:30 UTC - CONNECTIVITY TO TRANQUILITY IS STILL AFFECTED
17:45 UTC - WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON STABILIZING TRANQUILITY
18:00 UTC - SERVICE IS RETURNING TO NORMAL
18:15 UTC - WE ARE CURRENTLY MONITORING TRANQUILITY

OP is completely wrong, CCP has prime quality minmatar duct tape that can hold entire space ships together even during the stresses of warp travel.

ummm i spent all of tonight running events so id be very mad if i lost it all for nothing
I have no problem with people being mad - I just think that it stinks that the first thing people do is lay blame at CCP when there are many other things that could have caused the issue that CCP has no control over

yeh i understand. ill just wait until this blows over. but it seems this particular ddos attack is nasty. its not just causing lag, but kicking most ppl off the server
