Tranquility has been targeted with a number of DDoS attacks today that have affected connectivity and login.

Tranquility is now back online and accepting connections, and we offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this is causing.

FIRST ATTACK

11:28 UTC - TQ HAS BEEN HIT BY ANOTHER DDOS ATTACK, WE ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING
12:00 UTC - WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF THE ATTACK
12:15 UTC - TRANQUILITY IS NOW RECOVERING FROM THE ATTACK
12:25 UTC - THE CLUSTER SHOULD NOW BE RETURNING TO NORMAL - WE ARE MONITORING

SECOND ATTACK

14:03 UTC - TRANQUILITY IS CURRENTLY BEING HIT BY A SECOND DDOS ATTACK
14:20 UTC - WE ARE WORKING TO STABILIZE THE TQ CLUSTER AS THE ATTACK IS ONGOING
14:30 UTC - TRANQUILITY WILL BE COMING DOWN FOR A SHORT UNSCHEDULED REBOOT
14:45 UTC - TRANQUILITY IS CURRENTLY BEING RESTARTED IN VIP MODE
14:48 UTC - TRANQUILITY IS BACK ONLINE AND ACCEPTING CONNECTIONS

Looks like the issue is gone but now I can not see several chat windows, so CCP if I loose something expensive you will be hearing from me. never change something that is working fine.

At 9:10 BST I stuck in space - cap ship did not align nor warp - 0 speed and when tried safe log off got a message that "trying to activate the warp drive caused safe logoff to abort“.

(Video recorded) was it DDOS or a feature ?

quick story of my eve experience

i want to play since 2003
see game partly f2p
get hyped download game
create first character and play
1st day: oh its cool game
2nd day: i start to understand fitting ships. servers DDoS’ed lost my active agency quest
send ticked solved
3rd day: i complate beginner agency missons. full fit a cormorant as longbow (2mil worth)
4th day: try jump to get more agency missions. servers DDoS’ed again
i got DC
relog and there is no ship
send ticket and no answer…

You can’t lose anything in an NPC station. Thanks to asset safety, you can’t lose anything in a citadel either…
