I read the patch notes, but damn, its like a 1 GByte download. Why so large? Was there not a patch last week? Is there stuff in there about to spring out out box and smack people in the face?
Textures, does it not download as you play?
or maybe it’s 1GB of python to check Boot.ini won’t get deleted

You’re right, I have download full client ticked because when I left it unticked the game would lag horribly when I moved through systems. Never mind.
Edit: Nope, on my other computer that box isn’t ticked and it its downloading the same amount of stuff.
Sounds were not included … Weird you start noticing EvE had sound when it stops having sound.

If you’re going to play an online game while being worried about a 1GB patch then reconsider your life choices.
Audio:
- New space and combat music added for the Invasion Chapter 3.
- New music added to Zero Space.
- New music added to Wormhole Space.

A lot of the material downloaded was probably for Singularity. Patch should have been roughly 600Mb. Most of it seems to be audio files.
