- T1 Ice Harvesters only get 83% the yield of T2, but generate no waste.
- Type A crystals get 80% of the yield of Type B, but generate less than half the waste.
- T1 Strip miners generate no waste, but only 69% of the yield of Type A crystals (even worse when compared to Type B). So, you would have to be pretty desperate for every drop of ore to use them.
Anyway, T1 harvesters/strip miners use a scoach less fitting resources. Might help to upgrade compact tanking mods to T2, but should rarely be enough for big changes.
