LOL, No, I’m not a “chatgpt”. I get that in High-sec, Concord is invincible. That’s as it should be. Currently lo-sec is a misnomer, as lacking any response from Concord it is effectively no-sec or null-sec if you prefer. Logically, if you want to do PVP without interference from concord, the place to do it is null-sec, with some risk attached if you do it low-sec - but not so much that it can’t happen. That’s why I suggested that the concord response in low-sec be progressively slower, and weaker, the lower the security rating; in other words, that there’s a gradual and more or less linear reduction in security until you reach null-sec when there’s none. I see no reason not to allow Concord to be successfully defeated - in low-sec from time to time. Do you?
Yes. Lore.
CONCORD ships and weaponry aren’t exeptional strong themselves but use technology that can instantly disrupt the neuronal connection between a capsuleer and his ship.
They are the ‘safety switch’ that makes sure the empires can never lose control over us godlike immortal beings but rather use us if convenient, but have us on a leash at all times.
The NPC empires with their thousands of inhabited planets we capsuleers have not even access to and billions over billions of citizens are the superpowers in this universe, not the puny capsuleer alliances with a few thousand spaceships. CONCORD enforces the rules the empires make and they are unchallengable by design. Should capsuleers find a way to defeat CONCORD ships, chances are good that the empires wipe out every single capsuleer to the last cell and end this experiment they do not longer have complete control over.
I don’t think that’s a remotely compelling argument. It’s couched as so much persiflage but doesn’t amount to much. It stands to reason that low-sec implies some sec as it were, and that in turn implies that at some point in lo-sec, the forces of law-and-order are weaker than the opposition. Thus concord should be killable - in lo-sec.
There is security in lowsec, namely the gate/station guns.
It makes no sense. But if you want a graduate threat in low-sec, than stay near a gate in a pod there…
