Benedictus Dominus meus in loco caelesti,

Qui misit unctum suum ad perfringendas lineas;

Locorum tenebrosorum per lucem Gratiae Suae;

Mitte me ad bella consiliorum tuorum;

Cantabo laudes tuas, Domine, benedic dextrae meae;

Ad prosternendum impium et protegendum mansuetum;

Quoniam odisti iniquum ubi stant;

Instillate in me fortitudinem quam quaero;

Ad sustinendam veritatem et Legem tuam;

Benedicta machaera descende in flamma;

Super hunc campum Sanguinis martyrum quem vidi;

Sine paenitentia aut culpa.

Benedictus sit Dominus Deus qui dat mihi fortitudinem;

Ad ferendam lucem in tenebris in caligine belli;

Concede mihi robur fidei denuo in bello gerendo;

Contra inimicos tuos deleat ira tua;

Contra litora procella iactata externa;

Sanguis effundatur in delectatione tua;

Infideles quos detestaris;

Erudi manus meas ad bellum in potentia tua;

Contra impios labia mea condemnant;

Largire fervorem zeli tui;

Et hanc orationem sollemnem;

Donec fracta vexilla hostium meorum revelent.

Benedic Domino;

Qui armat me fide;

Benedic Domino;

Qui confirmat cor meum;

Benedic Domino;

Qui prosternit impium;

Benedic Domino;

Cuius sanguis malitiae fusus est;

Meditabor in Legibus tuis Deus meus;

Erudi manus meas ad proelium in nomine tuo;

Consecra cor meum, fac sanctum;

In gloria soli tibi.

Quae praemia exspectant nos in nomine Dei;

Haec vallis lacrimarum abluta;

Sanguine martyrum;

Consecrata in bello et fide;

Gladii et spiritus;

Labia proferentia laudem et orationem nostram;

Contra hostem;

Confractum et comminutum;

Non incurvaverunt se;

Et gratias egerunt Domino.

Translation;

Blessed is my Lord in the heavenly place;

Who sent his anointed to break the lines;

Of the dark places through His light of Grace;

Send me for the battles of your designs;

I will sing your praises Lord, bless my right hand;

To strike down the wicked and protect the meek;

For you abhor the wicked where they stand;

Instill in me the courage that I seek;

To uphold your truth and Law;

Blessed blade descend on flame;

Upon this field of martyrs blood I saw;

Without remorse or blame.

Blessed be the Lord God that grants me courage;

To bring the light to the dark in battle gloom;

Grant me the strength of faith anew in war wage;

Against your enemies may your wrath doom;

Against storm wracked foreign shore;

May the blood spill in your delight;

The infidels you do abhor;

Train my hands for war in your might;

Against the wicked do my lips condemn;

Bestow the fervour of your zeal;

And this prayer solemn;

Until the broken banners of my foes reveal.

Bless the Lord;

Who arms me in faith;

Bless the Lord;

Who strengthens my heart;

Bless the Lord;

Who strikes down the wicked;

Bless the Lord;

Whose blood of evil spilled;

I will meditate on your Laws my God;

Train my hands for battle in your name;

Consecrate my heart, make it holy;

In glory unto you alone.

What bounties await us in the name of God;

This valley of tears washed away;

With the blood of martyrs;

Consecrated in battle and faith;

Of blade and breath;

Lips uttering our praise and prayer;

Against the foe;

Shattered and broken;

They did not kneel;

And give thanks to the Lord.
