Sounds like a good idea, honestly. I’ll look into implementing that, so thanks for the idea.

Pardon me for interjecting but I feel this particular point requires some elaboration.
Despite common misconception Democracy is not ‘rule of the majority.’ That would, in fact, be Majoritarianism.
Democracy is a form of government in which the governed have legislative representation in the governing body. What this means is that a ‘tyranny of majority’ is mitigated because minorities are still represented in the legislative body, promoted by interest groups and protected against negligence and infringement by legislation and judiciary procedure.
Since the governed are also part of the government, a minority is able to appeal to the governing body by virtue of lobbyists, interest groups, advertisement, education and a plethora of other avenues in an attempt to convince others to join their cause and share their opinion. They may not always succeed in convincing others to share their cause or views and they do have an uphill battle to fight but it is not an impossible one and certainly more available than governance by monarchy, aristocracy or plutocracy (to name a few).
So it seems, so it seems. I suppose we have to wait and see where the path ahead lies.
On that note, I would like to issue a more formal statement on my position.
The unexpected stargate construction project leading to Athounon was initially very worrisome. In my haste to gain a better grasp of the reason for this stargate project, I chastised the Federation government for their hasty projects without the consideration of member states most affected by those projects. I can see now that my concerns, while warranted, are no longer relevant.
The Federation government has since erected many fortifications in Amygnon and the surrounding systems. This was a much welcomed sight and probably should have been initiated prior to the stargate construction project in order to assuage fears that a potential connection to unknown dangers was coming without proper security emplacements. Myself, as well as the URA in general, are staunch advocates and supporters of the Federation Armed Forces. The URA always has been, and will continue to be, the Kiartanne member state with the highest enlistment rate of its citizens into the various branches of the Federation Armed Forces. We cherish our freedoms and liberties greatly - and we must ensure they are secured by maintaining an appropriate military.
The new stargate construction project in Intaki is curious, given that the gate in Amygnon no longer can be finished in its intended target system (Athounon). We wholly welcome an opportunity to directly connect Intaki to the greater Verge Vendor region. The past between the URA and Intaki Assembly has been tumultuous, yes, but that does not mean we need to repeat history. President Aguard has justfully and rightfully secured the future of the Intaki system and adjacent colonies with decisive military action. May our governments turn over a new leaf and forge stronger relations with each other for a brighter future for all.
The path to Verge now appears to be open.
It has been awhile since I visited Amygnon but it is nice to be so close to two Aliastra Stations and I think I’ll take some time to reacquaint with Caramel Anssie again.
Its a shame Senator you personally have no stations under your name in system I would love to see the hospitality of the URA in action.
Hopefully we can become truly acquainted soon.
