About the Light Fighter Damage Formula

As my testing in test server,

The Space Superiority type,
have a reduced 80% damage to any “SHIP”, which is Stiletto or Armageddon,
but full damage to Any Drone and Fighter.

And the Attack type,
the Autocannon, the DRF, is like Precision Light Missile , which is 0.561;
the Heavy Rocket Salvo, the DRF is like Torpedo , which is 0.944

Does any one can tell me about the Heavy Fighter?

The interesting part is there ar 4 “reduction factor” stats : 2 for the attack, two for the ability. Also the reduction factor sensitivy is always 5.5 so I think this is a constant that means 5.5= maximum value.
So now I’ll just check the ABility and ATtack damage reduction factors

equite AB=2
templar AB=5 AT=3
malleus AB=5.5 AT=5.5

I checked for missiles and nova XL torpedo has “AOE damage reduction factor” at 1, while for inferno jav rockets it is “aoeDamageReductionFactor (1353) 0.682”, so IMO there must be a translation from the “missilereductionfactor” to the “aoeDamageReductionFactor”

The formula that seems the most adequate is ln(DRF)/ln(5.5) (I made lots of tests and ended up finding it here )

So if that is correct,

  • equite AB is thus 0.407, which is better than any other missile but definitely not perfect.
  • templar AT is 0.644 which is the same as normal rockets
  • templar AB is 0.944 which is torpedo size
  • malleus AB and AT are 1 so XL torp size.

I made a small program to list all the feighters with AB/AT attribute and print them. the syntax is
