I track a number of items but a block is a single item-type.

Each block represents a total quantity of items, such that I earn about a 10mil profit from it if I buy it at that price and sell it at that price. Simplifies the tracking of that sale of that block.

You only sell items that are not in “too competitive markets”? What constitutes a “too competitive market”?

If I have to adjust (modify order//relist) too many times, I have a low tolerance for it, maybe I will relist 3 or 4 times at most. This has to be considered for both buy AND sells. Since the relisting eats up the profit from both ends.

Maybe your methodology is specifically designed for the trader activity, not a simple sell strategy.

It is.

When I was selling Pi as a producer, I first sold to buy orders until I had so much rolling-stock that then I just put large amounts at certain price points. If the prices lowered, I held on to my stock pile, if the prices went up I keep feeding new orders.
