I’ll take the ‘‘stupidity’’ any time. I want an exchange with actual human beings, not computers. I don’t care how much ‘‘better’’ a computer can be deemed to do some thing or another (and it doesn’t), it’s empty and meaningless.

I don’t mind reading some short A.I paragraph as long as it cuts into the core of an issue/subject and sets the reality straight for all to enjoy.
On the forum, I think it should be clearly marked and separate from the member’s point/statement.

AI is a complete and utter waste of everybody’s time. From poster to reader, everybody involved is being jerked around by the chain of apathy and laziness.
I’m sure you all managed to write an essay in school. A forum post, even a lengthy one, isn’t even a full paragraph of a formal paper. If you can’t be bothered to write it yourself then why would anybody want to read it?
AI art is also bad. Quit using it.

Yes, most of it is very bad. Im talking about most of what we see that looks supposedly so good…that it looks really bad.
There is good AI art out there though.
I like some of the members AI art on these boards. @Zaera_Keena has some very nice stuff. I would like to see what else she can do except all the selfies ( Zaera, youre beautiful ) but id like to see more of what she and a few others can really do.
@Gloria_Exercitus also has some very nice AI art. I would also like to see some more of her stuff as well.

We have to use SI. That means Super Intelligence. A lot of people are saying this. Believe me. We have all the intelligence. Isn’t that right, folks? You know, we have to have the intelligence. We have to. We have more intelligence unlike anything ever seen before in history. I had people coming up to me, tears in their eyes. They said, we can’t believe it. I said, that’s because it is super.

This reminds me of a quote from King of the Hill.

I’m sure you can produce some okay stuff with a prompt. I have absolutely zero interest in that, that is the total death of creativity to me. I would rather you draw a stick figure than use generative AI to make anything. At its best it is still a hollow, rancid black hole. Mediocre at best but still smelly.

As many of you know, there is a news story where the US president formed S.I.F. ( Super Inteligent Force ). Although how that should read is Suppilment Income Financing. This new branch will need funding after they work out the budget. I try not to think too much about the things outside my sphere of control. I read it, as more government spending. But let’s talk about AI.
Back in 1987, I watched the new Star Trek: The Next Generation with my brother. I use to enjoy driving to his house and watching it with him. They had a computer system that recognized human speech and was very close to what many of us have in our house today. The Google Nest, Alexa, Siri, and Cortana personal assistance arrived on the scene 25 years later, around 2012. The new tech also promoted more fear. There was most recently a short lived series called “Next” where a Cybersecurity Agent joins the FBI to stop the emergence of a rogue Artificial Intelligence. Sometimes what is meant to entertain, simply sets us back developing the tech tools. I really wish people understood science fiction from science fact.
Those personal agents are just reguritating the internet. They mostly parrot. Now parrots do have limited inteligence, they can be taught colors, item names, numbers, and materials by name. But nobody fears parrots … except the late Alfred Hitchcock. The agent listens to the room for its queue to talk. “Hey Google! What do I need to make mac and cheese for the kids?” and a soft female voice ( just like on STNG ) replies, “To make mac and cheese for kids, you need macaroni, cheese (preferably cheddar), butter, flour, milk, and salt. This simple combination creates a creamy and delicious dish that kids will love.”. Not much different had I searched it up on my PC or phone.
Now we fast forward decade and we have AI algorythms, but few seem to understand this is just another step on the long ladder we must climb. Algorythms are simply a flow chart of how to complete any task. Making the mac and cheese could be a simple algorythm or very stupidly complexed. When it comes to making food an algorythm is called a recipe. Now the question is; does the machine choose the basic Mom and Pop Mac and Cheese or do we use the french gormet chef’s recipe? Many times the machine gets it all wrong and you end up with Fondue Aligot and the kids are looking at you asking, “Are you that funking stupid?”. Then they all start crying because they realise they are genetically related to you.
Do we need AI? Of course not, we existed without it before, but people also existed before the horseless carriage, electric lights, and the steam engine. It is just another tech tool people want to use and others want to hate. The Earth is not flat and it revolves around the sun people, the trick is to bang the rocks together.

I think its wonderful. Again, theres a lot of bad AI art out there…but ithink we all know what that is. Yours is different with the vibrant colors and themes. Your art is the exception by a long shot.
I used to be able to draw…but i stopped and lost the talent. I cant do ai art very good either other than just typing in simple requests. You and few others are much better than ill ever be.
