AIR Daily Reward Track issues if starting later in the month

The current Daily Login Rewards track should carry over into the next month.

If a person creates an account towards the end of the month and/or for any other reason starts the reward track with 11 days or less remaining from the 1st of the next month they cannot complete the track. They are DOA. If a person creates an account on the 21 of August they have to wait 23 days minimum for an actual reward, which is the skillpoints at the end. Let’s be honest, everything else on the reward track is garbage.

If a person starts the daily track it should not reset until it is completed; If that takes 12 days or 12 years. As long as you start within a month, it should count for that month even if it continues into another month.

Why should it? It is meant to start new at the start of each month. If you start late in a month, you can just start next month and in the running month you just farm the 10k per day.

Players would find a way to exploit it. If they started at the end of the month, and it fell on a weekend, they would use the cheap weekend Omega pass on the NES store to get all of the monthly Omega rewards.

You know the Weekend Pass doesn’t only work on the weekends, right?

The AIR reward track is meant to reward players for completing 12 days of dailies. Which is what they would still be doing with my proposed change. It’s not accomplishing that goal when you start too late into the current month. You cannot just start next month without losing up to 225K SP because you started on the 21st of August instead of the 20th. That 225K SP is 22.5 days of daily SP you lose out on. “Just start next month” doesn’t make up for it.

Why shouldn’t it change? I gave you that answer in my original post to why it should and some right above. What’s your reason for it not carrying over? “This is how it is now” is not a reason for it not to change. That’s just stating the current situation. By that reasoning nothing should ever change in EVE.

That would not be an exploit. And even if it was, I don’t see how such a weekend pass couldn’t be used at any other time. If they’ve already done it as an alpha, the omega reward carries over into the next month in an unclaimed queue so they can upgrade to omega and get the past month’s omega rewards anyway at any time in the following month.

Remember, this is the same game where you can use an unused character slot to farm 150K SP a day if you wanted to.
