Omega reward track isn't consistent in paying out

Coped from reddit:
So this is a screenshot of two alts that I made and am collecting daily SP from. They have done the exacty same activities and claimed the exact same rewards. Notice character #2 has 3000 less evermarks than character #1, the omega bonus at 3 days.

There is absolutely no way to collect the omega rewards if they don’t show up. This has happened with the plex rewards as well on multiple occasions but I thought it was a visual bug. Now that I look at my plex wallets though, they haven’t been growing by 5 per month as they should.

There is no consistency in when the omega track does or doesn’t pay out on my end, unless someone else can provide more information. I’ve tried completing more daily tasks to get omega rewards to show up but it still doesn’t because I’ve already completed my 2 tasks for the day.

I have that issue as well. I pretty much have to submit support tickets every month for Omega rewards not being awarded in the Rewards tab of the Opportunities window.

For probably the first time since this new AIR Opportunities system, last month, all went fine though. Maybe because I decided to experiment switching all my Eve graphic settings to Low (even though I have a 4070 TI Super 16GB) AND change a 3D setting in the NVidia Config Panel to limit the FPS to 20 for background applications (any window who doesn’t have the focus). The game was ugly for the 12 first days of the month (and again this month), but it might have saved me 2-4 weeks of stress waiting for the ticket to be resolved (the GMs keep telling me they are overwhelmed with tickets, but I didn’t get to know what type of issue(s) was causing all of the delays).

So, this might be something to try (lower your graphics and lower the FPS settings for background application).

I personally don’t open support tickets for EverMarks and the SkinR box, but it is up to you. I’ve opened countless Bug reports everytime I got the issue, so they should be aware of this. Just not a priority for the devs I guess.

My suspiscion (for the issue), is that the reward process isn’t decided by the client alone, but is an exchange between the client and the server, and that process don’t double check that the reward(s) are delivered in the client’s Rewards tab. As if the client tels the server that the daily(es) is completed, then the servers would maybe tell the client to add the Omega rewards, but the data would be lost and the client don’t bother asking the server again for an answer (the message telling to add the rewards). And I assume no double check the other way either (the server don’t expect the client to send back confirmation that the rewards were added to the Rewards tab)
