Medium Ancillary Armor Repairer
‘Radical’ Damage Control
Imperial Navy 1600mm Steel Plates

Sensor Booster II

Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II
Dual Heavy Pulse Laser II
Prototype Cloaking Device I - Dropped the Neutralizer for a Cloaking Device to cloak up while in Null. Easier to cloak in a non MOOB system then take the chance of getting caught due to the time the Akoman takes to align and warap out,

Cladistic-5 ‘Krai Veles’ Filament x8
Glorification-1 ‘Devana’ Filament x9
Noise-5 ‘Needlejack’ Filament x5
Very flyable in Null as is. But improvements are able to be made to ensure the hull of the Akoman tails blood from its hull welds after if crushes enemy NPC’s.
Make certain to allows be in a fleet when using a filament.
When dropping into hostile territory - Trig space, turn the AB for about ten seconds then cloak up. Do not sit on the filament drop in point as it can be warped to straight from the Overview.
When dropping into hostile territory - Null space and there are Capsuleers in Local, turn the AB on then wait ten seconds then turn the cloak on while your Akoman burns away from the filament drop point.
If you are making food, point the ship away from the filament drop point and let the 27,5 m/s engines carry you away from the filament drop point.
Be back later with more improvements.
Improvements
Three Heat Sinks were mutated with above decent traits for DMG and RoF
Conflagration Large Crystals replaced the Imperial Gamma Large.
Capacitor now has a 10:03 run time while having 1017.5 DPS with Conflagration crystals 24/14 range.
Mutated Med II Cap Battery and was able to achieve a 10:23 capacitor run time with all modules operating. 12:54 with all modules running after Sensor Booster II has been turned off (asteroid belt runs only).
Why not test the metal of the Akoman in Null? What does affordability have to do when using a cloak and a filament?
Stay by your shores where mother’s breast milk keeps you warm and safe.
The long-range of the Akoman nullifies the cloak disadvantage. I have discovered that when warping to an asteroid belt or combat site within an empty Null system at 50km, I am able to lock frigates, destroyes and cruisers all before they are able to lock me, and at that range, the frigates and destroyers are easily taken down within a few shots. Hit the smaller ships with stasisfier and then hit them with the close range lasers. If the frigates and destroyers get under your optimal, simply switch to the cruisers, then BC and BS.
I have never gone over 25% loss to armor even while fighting two 1.5 mil isk BS at the same time.
I don’t mind flying expensive ships, as long as I have a good reason to fly that ship instead of another more economic option.
So far you’ve still not explained why this Akoman is a good idea.
If I wanted to fly a cloaky ranged dps ship in null I have many options. I’d probably undock a covert T3C at half the cost instead.
I wasted some time getting your Akoman into a copyable fit:

Upon which I noticed noticed you’re using a PvP tank for a PvE ship.
1600mm and ancillary repairer? Are your PvE engagements short and explosive? Why not fit a regular repairer and pick rigs and modules to support that choice as is normal for sustain in PvE?
Anyway, your fit is twice as expensive than the T3C I used for my null sec asteroid and combat site sniping, locks slower, shoots half as far with less dps and is slowed to a crawling pace while cloaked where my own choice of ship even warps cloaked.
So again, what is the reason to fly an Akoman this particular way for this particular content?
See that’s the problem with rookies, ya’ll do things correctly.
Fitting a cloak on a non-cloaky? Cloaks work for any ship the way the Capsuleer intends for the cloak to work.
Ever see destroyers or cruiser or battleships mining asteroid belts? You won’t, nowadays because we having mining barges, but back in the day there were numerous threads about fitting battlecruisers and destroyers and battleships with mining equipment.
Doing something wrong with that ship again young man, your father is going to be very unpleased.
If you’ve got 1 safe spot to cloak at, why not 3 and keep warping?
The Sensor Recalibration and Scan Res debuffs, especially using the worst cloak in the game for those, are what put me off, seems like bad nerfs for a combat ship.
When running in Null, I drop into a belt at 50 or 70 km. If someone else enters the system, I can easily cloak up before being yellow boxed or warp away. The Akoman does align the fastest, so it’s good to have other options. Having the cloak also allow me to warp to align combat sites, cloak up and wait while the other Capsuleers do their thing.
The Akoman is more of a support ship with long-range webs and long-range neuts/nullifiers.
Two to three Akoman in a fleet would be very exhausting to go against.
In my experience cloaking in a site with hostile NPCs in response to a threat appearing in local does not work the majority of the time.
Only in between waves or when you just landed do you get that chance, which means if you want to use it as a reliable way to hide at any time you’re going to want a safe spot to warp to anyway.
And with safe spots the cloak is redundant and is nerfing your lock time for no purpose.
Tbh a cloaky T3C will probably do the job better, faster and safer most of the time. And as long as the Akoman is that expensive, also cheaper. With none of its downsides.
Yes, I definitely see a good role for the Akoman as support ship in PvP with it’s long range neuts and webs, like the other blood raider ships are used.
