How would you fit new Akoman?

Akoman design is almost similar to Ashimmu but with large guns and slower.
Also, Akoman, being a battlecruiser, can fit MJD, but at the same time it has no drone bay.
Also, it is slower.

Surprizingly, tank is the same-ish.

I feel, that CCP has lost its dareness and went the “safe” way, marketing-wise. So, in order to not break balance between shiptypes, let’s just make another Ashimmu, but sliiiightly different.. and there will be tradoffs.

Shame! We need more new engaging mechanics for battle!

Anyway, I’d fit Akoman as a 1600mm buffer armor, double web + cap booster, nos+neut, double locust, three armor hardeners (domi ones for cap). Optional heat sinks vs omni res membranes.
It will provide more DPS and projection, for the cost of speed and application (Large vs Medium). Also, no drones..

More neuts instead of NOS if I can rely on captransfers.
NOS only if it should just be an semi-afk altship to keep sucking on enemy ships during the fight.

Where I live, there are no gankers. It’s a PvP ship and I’d fit it for PvP.

Haha! Truth is that nullsecs are much safer than hisecs! Ahaha!
I’d, however, disagree with Syzygium with that fit because you can fit Ashummu exactly the same but for the much cheaper price (remember, we have comparable tank).
The main advantage of Akoman is BIG GUNZ and building it around this advantage is the right thing to do, but that’s just my opinion. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
