Aliastra's ONE and ONLY high sec lvl 4 Security agent is 41 jumps away

…from the Gallente space!!!

Can anyone explain to me the reason behind this NONSENSE?

The only explanation I can think of is a lore one.

The events of the Gallente-Caldari War, and the immediate aftermath, left Aliastra vulnerable to takeover and competition from Fedmart.

With Fedmart dominating the domestic market inside the Federation, Aliastra has chosen to focus on foreign markets, which is why so many of their stations, and therefore agents, are far from home.

Ref.: Aliastra Lore,

because you scared to go 1 jump through low-sec ?

what do i win ?

The Route from Siyi to Dodixie has 20 jumps.

Regardless of the lore or the low-sec setting of the map - this agent is the ONLY high sec agent that gives lvl 4 security missions for this corp with 24 stations in high sec 8 of which are in Gallente space alone and it has been placed by the game in the furthest possible high sec constellation away from Gallente space on top of that in a cull de sac system!

The more I learn about this “distribution” the more it makes no sense!

Pick another corp

This is so that players who are locked out of Gallente space have the ability to fix their standings without having the Navy go hunt them down. If you want to mission in Gallente space, may I suggest Fed Navy for lower Dodixie taxes?

You are still missing the point of the OP, there is no lvl4 agent in high sec for Gallente, in fact there isn’t one for the other 2 factions either, only for Ammar! For those who do missions for Caldari, their standings with Gallente drop down faster as even if they try to avoid doing missions with Gallente ships as the hostiles, the Caldari story line missions negatively affect Gallente! On the other hand when I do storyline missions for Gallente I don’t get a standing drop for Ammar, only for Caldari, so I would assume the opposite - Ammar storyline missions dont affect Gallente - holds true. Therefore it would make sense to have a lvl4 agent in Caldari space more than in Ammar.

So this is neither a lore reason nor gameplay one!

I bet you didn’t know that there isn’t a single Ammar agent that gives lvl 4 security missions in high sec of Gallente space! NONE! I checked all Ammar corps, there are 5 in Minmatar space, and 2 in Caldari but ZERO in Gallente! So much for allowing players to fix their standings with an opposite faction!

Because gallente is not directly at war with amarr. You probably do have low standings with them from derived standings but minmatar affects amarr and vice versa while caldari and gallente affects each other. Anything else is derived

So how that justifies Ammar having access to that agent unlike Caldari who are at war with Gallente - the gameplay reason - or unlike Gallente who still have 8 out of 24 stations for that corp that is their own corp - lore reason? It doesn’t.

He is talking about one corp of agents, not the whole faction…He can very easily just pick another corp (and one with better items).

Also Amarr (2 Rs not 2 Ms) missions tend to be anti Gallente more than anti Matar.

What about Anad Hobrork who lives in Larryn of Gallente’s Highsec?

While she is in “high sec”, she is behind a 20+ jump route with safety-off, with safety on - 30+ jumps a dozen of which through low sec systems. Why would I even go that far to fix my Ammar standings if the Ammar agents that are in Minmatar space are within 10 jumps?

Gallente has about 5-6 agents in Ammar’s high sec. So that’s kind of one-sided in favor of Ammar.

Anyways that is not my talking point, what I was trying to point out was that if a corp operates in high sec of the faction it belongs to, it should have at least one agent for each mission difficulty of every division it has in high sec of that faction, since Aliastra still operates in Gallente high sec and in that high sec it has a security division with agents that give missions lvl 1-3 it should also have at least on lvl 4 security agent!
