There seems to be a lot of discourse about thinsg atm.

There are a couple options imo:

  1. They do nothing.
  2. They cut omega price in half.
  3. They add beta teir with slower skill training and bump omega training 2x its current speed. Beta is 2/3 current price
  4. They Add beta and it just unlocks existing trained skills and ships. Beta is $5 this rewards vets with lots of sp who have given ccp lots of money but maybe can’t play as much now so struggle to justify the price.

It is actually entirely comparable to tax funding for a local park, as I originally stated. If you live in that town then you pay the council tax that pays for the park….whether you use it or not.

Feel free to go live halfway up a mountain in Montana instead, but if you live in Evetown then you pay for the parks, the police, the fire service, the road maintenance, etc. You cannot simply say ‘ I’ve never called the police….so I’m not paying for them ‘.

So…if I’m ever in Montana I’ll pop in and see you at your off grid mountain shack.

I will never get over people literally begging to be fleeced by microtransactions instead of just paying for a service and receiving the entire service in return.

If microtransactions were to the financial benefit of the consumer, they wouldn’t exist.

Aiko, it is very unproductive of us if we merely express to one another how little we care about each other. I will leave continuation of this behavior to you. I am no longer interested and will be looking for someone younger in the future. This isn’t working for me anymore.

It has been available for a long time now and I would presume many players take advantage of it, maybe because of the convenience, or the plex. :rofl:

But don’t think the weekend pack means it’s just for the weekend, you can buy it any day, and use it when you want.

Hold your horses, I’d have to do the math first and calculate the ripoff percentage first. The standard business practice of “if you buy more it’s going to be cheaper” is always in effect, off course. But seeing that skill training is no longer a consideration and I already own everything I can afford to lose, I might just do that indeed. Continuous access or skill training isn’t a factor for me anymore, but unlocking higher level skills (live overheating) are essential to even play for me.

Go play WoW or FFXIV and ask their devs to remove subscriptions. Be grateful you don’t have to pay for expansions here. So stop crying pay your subscription or go play offline games. I dont care about ‘I want to play free forever’ rats.

Thank you for the opportunity, but I got slightly annoyed by the woman’s… let’s call it a “sense of humor”… so I have temporarily hidden her posts from my sight. I have to admit that I don’t have any data regarding the quantity of grief associated with hisec ganking, and feel that I might not be the best respresentative for this task.

This is because I regard both gankers as the ganked to be engaged with gameplay that doesn’t really connect to mine often enough. This is mainly due to my own logistics being extremely limited, and only occasionally touches hisec markets.
