Lol…. I was thinking the exact same thing!!!

Pay a sum for being able to pew-pew in a Titan for one day, as part of “the crew”….

Which has absolutely nothing in common with Ubisoft and any kind of reference

to that Ubisoft game is purely casual and unintentional….

Bù JU hǎo Aiko you mean

CCP market decisions are also killing Jita…

No, bù hǎo meaning very bad.

You have me on market details. I only manufacture for myself.

You are talking about “Weekend Fleet Pack 3.75 €“ for 3 days?
I thought you can buy packs only one time only.

Those can be bought multiple times

Ah thank you, I did not know that.

They can be used anytime as well, not just the weekend.

nice info too, thx

Would I have time enough to turn off my acct before they finish ganking me?

If a Capsuleer has always maintained an Alpha account, then said Capsuleer should be required to purchase a One month Omega account. After the month of Omega, the Omega account would be able to operate an Alpha account indefinitely.

Gankers do cause inflation because they do not put real money into the environment. Selling modules scooped from wrecks really has zero value compared to the real money put into the environment to purchase the same type of modules.

How then do you think they pay for ships lost? If I were to take up such a task, I would have to go omega again just to support my ganking toon.

I like you but your wrong on that one.

‘Allow ALPHA players to pay for the game!’

They already can. It’s called Omega.

Ahem, I guess you’ve never used a cloud-based virtual machine. These are charged per minute. Reduce memory, reduce price. Reduce CPU, reduce price. Stop. Pay nothing.

Then there’s ISPs that charge per day. Reduce speed, reduce price for that day. Pause service, pay nothing. Continue service, pay the daily rate.

If you’re only interested n playing on weekends then there is the 3 day omega option.

It even comes with some plex and you get to play when you want.

You don’t need the skill training 7 days a week for every single pilot you have.

pay for Omega.

You don’t have to grind the full 500 PLEX as ISK, you can buy PLEX in increments of 100 for $5 to cover what you don’t earn. If you can mine/rat 60% of the PLEX needed to buy Omega, then you only need to spend half the cash to finish out the PLEX for Omega.

The 21 day free trial we used to have wasn’t enough to really let people know if this game was for them, so CCP created Alphas. It’s an open ended trial, not a way to permanently play the game.

You are not describing paying less per-unit, you are describing consuming fewer units.

skill training continues when you are offline. skill points are pretty important as you progress and want to do multiple things. adding microtransactions to do this one thing, or that one thing. I’m gonna have to say this is an absolutely garbage idea.

Alphas can pay for the game by purchasing an Omega account.

Only if the amount Alphas pay for far exceeds what Omega pays for to get all of that access at once with a small monthly fee.

I would fully support this if it means Alpha players spend way way way more on these tokens than I do on Omega.
