I wonder why have this block in Alpha accounts? Let me me be clear.
I’m a new player, 1 month and 1 week, i still learning the game, like 95% left, and because of it i start to do more.
So, now that i’m farming nicelly(for my game moment ofc), i want to learn about other stuffs, but, such a lot of ppl the omega is hard to deal because diff in coin value, “currency”.
So i plan now that i’m Omega, to use the alpha new acc for start learn more, about other stuffs etc. But ofc i cant.
And my point is, why? I keep needing to learn about the game, its a 20 years game so, i cant just pay more for something i dont know if i’ll keep playing. For 1 account its enough FOR NOW, and if u feel necessary i can organize my money to expand, BUT, there is this point, i need feel it, and block the “apprendice” account that is alpha in other words is just nonsence.
I’m totally wrong? 50/50 maybe?
Let me know, i try send this message as ticket but site just dont work after u select the category, nothing happen so i was unable to send this suggestion to make Alpha always be 1, and omega just dont count. So that way, it will be able to ppl improve they game and be encourage to play with more tham 1 omega e keep in the game.
The Alpha account concept was intended as a way to give people time to get into the game before committing to a subscription.
EVE being so big and in-depth, the old 14 (21?) day trial account didn’t give newcomers long enough to explore the games many options at their own pace.
Alpha was never intended to be a long term option. If you enjoy the game as an Alpha, you’ll subscribe for the myriad benefits of an Omega account.
In order to keep clear benefits for subscribing, the Alpha account needs some quite serious drawbacks. One of these is the no multiboxing rule.
If I were able to multibox Alpha accounts, I’d have a fleet of Alpha Gas Huffing Ventures big enough to crack a Vital Core Reservoir before the sleepers show up. Great fleets of multiboxed Alpha Ventures would blot out the local stars and quickly become the order of the day across every area of space.
account without and payment will be lead in bot farms if you dont controle them ! and a form of controle is block the usage of an alpha account + other accounts ! dont care if the other accounts are omega or not !
why do you cant lern more ? is it only possible to lern things from alpha accounts ? why didnt you use your omega to lern the stuff you want to ?
im playing this game since 2012 and still now i have to lern new things ! this is a very complex game and you will never know everything about it ! you lern from you first thay until your last day !
and as i said … you have your omega ! why isnt it possible to lern with this account ?
NO ! it has a reason not to have alpha accounts online with other accounts … you know it aswell as other ppl now it !
Some gankers found a way to multibox alpha accounts to use them into highsec ganking. In theory is not possible, but they do some lowsec trick to make it work…
I understand that can be use in bad ways, but that way that game is today is bad for new players, i’m playing just for playing, game is too large and atm is not fun. I keep playing because of new friends i made, but not because the game itself. And this is nonsence.
I want keep playing Eve because the game is good and i enjoy it, but the curve for learn all that game can offer is too big. So thats why have a second account free for i keep doing quests, harvests etc, and learn other contents are important.
If the problem is ppl exploiting it ban then, but close the door for new ppl are not a good way for a game.
So u old players are fine with no more ppl comming in? and some left? dont be fooled with the 20k numbers in launcher, those 20k are maximum 5k real player and rest is just boxxing.
Keep ppl comming to eve is necessary, give to player a chance to always have a alpha accont will help it happen, if the own community dont think so, maybe i’m just in the wrong game and community.

so you cant do anything ingame because your second account as alpha is not playable simultaniosly with your omega ? → bullsheet !
there are enough ppl come into the new game ony because you didnt see anything you cant do does not mean other ppl are that blind.

you are able to have always an alpha account xD but your not allowed to use it simultanious with other accounts ! if you want to do something new without your omega geting involved ? start your alpha account and do your stuff !
Yes ofc is possible to i learn more with omega, but how to, learn Industry, Mining, Ratting, how all slots and they itens in ships work, character implants, market, Ships, alliance rules and how is the game in a alliance, the super large map, and i can keep writing other stuff. But is hard to so MOST of this stuff in i learn X skills, and for other i need Y.
U know how this work, u are a old player. Make everything with 1 account is almost impossible, but slowly make a mining account, them other for other reason etc… thats what i mean
multiboxing Alpha accounts is trivially easy to do. And I seriously do NOT recommend making the effort.
It’s guaranteed to get the banhammer, for any Omega accounts you have along with the Alphas the instant CCP cottons on to what you’re doing. Which is also fairly trivially easy for CCP to do.
Getting around the safety-set-to-red restriction is another matter altogether.
Each Omega subscription allowing 1 alpha account online as well means some multi boxers may cancel half their subscriptions and it will be bad for business. But its also possible that half of all the alpha accounts will activate an omega account with such an improvement.
The perceived increase in players on the server will also boost morale for everyone. But that is besides the point and probably also a bit of a strange point to make. But i digress.
Again i miss explain… i mean keep with 1 Alpha only… not matter how much omegas u have. So its just 1 extra box to encourage ppl to learn more. thats my point.
and i didnt start it as newbe ? i was always an “old player” ? lol … my char was born in a time where it was “hard” to find your way into the game because no “New Player Experiance” was there or other newbe friendly content !
no xD lot of player have only 1 account and they can work pretty well …
you want to multibox then pay your second account and enjoy 2 omegas !
how is this impossible with only 1 char ?
you can start industry jobs with only 1 char …
you can grab a mining ship and start mining with only 1 char …
you can grap your ratting ship and start ratting with only 1 char …
dont see any reason for your alpha account !
best choice you have if this game doesnt match with your imagination
again … why do you not able to do it with your omega ? bring a reason !
I was hoping to be able to continue to play with an Alpha account as well when i upgraded to Omega but was disappointed to learn i couldnt. But i think maybe it should scale so if you have two omega subscriptions then you can have two alpha accounts online as well, so on so forth. Just my opinion tho.
