You really are quite daft aren’t you? Bot farms don’t get created on mass or eradicated for long. Basicly any bot farm that gets banned is replaced in a couple of days at most so we’ll never see that sharp isk income drop by ban wave. But alas I’m done explaining why alphas and bots go so well together and how unlimited alpha playtime was the worst mistake CCP ever made opening the door to people to exploit the system for free
Maybe cuz 15% is way more impactful than 2%¿

The 10-15 bil was very simple btw an average mediocre vni player gets maybe 45mil/ hour a bot running anywhere above 12h/day is 500 mil daily x 30 days we could say 15 but they incur loses to players or npc so 10 bil is a fair assessment. When you have 20 of these suckers farming away it’s more isk monthly than any activity for the ‘main’. Look at how Fraternity built itself up in EVE terms overnight on the back of all their bots
First of all, the whole idea of Alpha/Omega was simply the skilling speed, so let’s just stop you right there.
The additional, dikmove restrictions CCP put on alphas beyond the original promise of 2x skilling speed should never have happened…
But it is CCP and they cannot ever be honest, open, transparent, truthful, ethical, or trusted.

As a Alpha player i wish they made it so you just had frigates hulls but with no other restriction
once you got confident to move on you would have the skills to support bigger ships
and if you didn’t move on you could become a great frigate pilot and have a pimped frigate
the only other change Id do is if you skill up as a omega and become a alpha all skills learned remain usable
this will never happen because its reeks of abuse.
Tell me what “surviving” is. If you had an accident and there was nothing left but your brain in a jar, would you be happy to have been saved like that?
If Eve becoming a mindless Farmville in Space browser game is “surviving”, then let it die so at least the game engine can be sold to people with a better vision than CCP.
PS: want to solve this problem? Make it so Alpha accounts cannot transfer ISK nor PLEX or create contracts.

This isn’t some courtesy to Alphas. It’s about what attracts players. But hooks them to buy Omega clones.
If heavy drones does that they give it

There’s always a segment of players that just look for something to be miserable about, most of the years it was high sec “messy up the game” then in those years they claimed miners were messy up the game, years have come and gone and prices for basic materials still remain the same, not even ice seen a big jump even with the nerf, now it’s alphas this alphas that.
Why does the face of misery keep showing up, all the years and the les miserables just find something to latch on to and parade it so that more can join them in the misery pit, go away.

Heavy drones are not meant for Alpha accounts they are meant for Omega if they give alphas the ability to use heavy drones they’re opening a Pandora’s Box a lot of fronts
