Subject says it all.
I “upgraded” from a GTX2070 Super to the RX 7800 XT and my FPS went down from 60+ to 40 and below…
I’m reasonably sure that this is not normal.
Are there any known issues with AMD drivers/cards?
Any specific setting that I should avoid?
tips ?
fully updated\upgraded? You didn’t accidentally start using DX 12 instead of 11 did you?

Ohhh… is that still a thing, not to use DX12, even after, what, 2 years?
I’ll give it a try, thank you for reminding me!

Hmm, I use EVE on DX12 with a AMD 7700 XT and have absolutely no problems. All running smooth with a fixed 120 fps.

This ■■■■ right here is why i love my PS5…
I have Space Marine 2 running on ultra with no issues.
Currently it just seems to be eve that “underperformes”.
Maybe i have to do the windows thing and uninstall and completely remove the eve client and all its config.
Do you have any other things you do as an AMD user? It’s my first non-nvidia card in years.
any eve settings AMD cards are not good at?

Don’t think so. I run all Settings on “High”, FSR on “ultra quality”. Resolution is 2560x1351 (windowed), 2 clients absolutely no problem.
