While I’m certain this solution would probably cause a boatload more issues, it occurs to me the ganking argument could be settled permanently if the devs just let player corps be freely wardecced. Let the game be more dangerous and make certain to hammer home this is the case at every opportunity!
Since when do you play the game? We already had that and it was so awful that even the game devs removed it at some point, because it was used to literally beat the ■■■■ out of every newbro and his friends trying to start the game. EVE lost so many players over this babysealclubbing mechanic that even CCP couldn’t ignore their loss in revenue any more.
I mean, if you want the game to shrink even more, go for it! Isn’t like we tested that theory of “add more opportunities to beat up new players in a game that already struggles to find new players” already. Surprise Surprise, it idn’t work out.
I started in 2019 and played until around 2022 when my life took a turn for the worse, and I tried to indicate I wasn’t entirely serious by admitting it would probably cause a boatload of other issues.
Also, unless I’m mistaken the unlimited wardec system only applied to player-owned corporations; people in NPC corps could still group up with their friends even if they didn’t get the benefits of being in a player corp.

There is actually something more boring than mining. Swarming around Uedama/Sivala gate 24/7 on the off chance that one can lock and ECM a Catalyst that’s actually ganking someone 15 systems away.

The best way to combat gankers is to pay attention to what you’re doing and not go AFK. No need for anti-ganking funds or any of that.

The way to fight Suicide Ganking is by Suicide Ganking, not Anti Ganking. Hope few will get the idea.
I’m gonna chime in and support the antiganking bounty fund as well. If you are an antiganker, all you have to do is upload a video showing that you have stopped a freighter gank. Record what you are doing, show the failed gankers, show the target still alive. If you do that I will pay 100 million isk!

This thread is hilarious. It is such a contrast that with all the lamenting against ganking and PVP that there is comparatively zero participation here.
36 replies while in the same time i am sure we have had 36 threads alone against ganking and pro PVP-free highsec.
But it shows directly the agenda of those guys besides not understanding the concept of the EVE economy: they only want to maximize their isk earnings and are not interested or capable of learning the mechanics to play the game properly. So of course none of those will participate in any antigank stuff, because they need to mine away in the very same time.
The next time someone opens a thread, you could directly link them to this here and ask how he/she has already or plans to participate. That player has a huge issue with the learning of the basic game mechanics, otherwise he/she would already be resistant against ganking and wouldn’t have opened a ranting thread which would imply they will also possibly need instructions and a learning program for the antigank project.
