You can insure your ships through Frostpacker before you decide to go out ganking and if your ships are blown up via CONCORD then if your ship was insured then you would receive your payout based on your insurance policy with Frostpacker.

Highsec ganking complaints are basically the most reliable constant in New Eden. And look, I get it — getting volleyed in 0.8 by a pile of Catalysts feels cheap. But the uncomfortable truth is this: ganking exists because players keep creating the exact conditions that make ganking profitable, easy, and low-effort. If people stopped autopiloting, overfitting cargo, or flying 3B in a ship that costs less than the implants they’re wearing, ganking would dry up from pure lack of income.
Players create the ecosystem gankers thrive in. CCP just lets the sandbox do what sandboxes do.
Ganking isn’t “low risk” — it’s predictable risk. Losing your ship is guaranteed every single time. The fact that some people are organized enough to turn that into a business model isn’t bad design, it’s player ingenuity.
If someone wants a safer experience, that’s valid. But asking CCP to remove ganking from highsec is like asking for a theme park inside a game that was literally built around the premise that nowhere is fully safe — including the space labeled ‘High Security’. That’s the point. That’s the identity of EVE.
At the end of the day: Highsec ganking isn’t the problem — people wanting highsec to behave like low-effort single-player content is the problem.

Cannot be repeated enough.
People who “just want to be left alone” are playing the wrong game. It’s like dropping into a CallOfDuty Warzone™ match and complaining that other people shoot you while you just want to collect some nice items from the ground and level your weapons. Game doesn’t work that way.

Some Capsuleers rather be left alone in highsec but will try to protect themselves from being ganker.
i get it why they wanna do that… just find a high sec island in low sec. but then they find something else to ■■■■■ about.

I saw an epic hour long rant the other day by some guy in what was in any case a free Venture, who admitted he was AFK but demanded that he be ‘left alone’. Some people simply don’t grasp that they are playing the most dystopian and brutal game there is….not Teletubbies Meet My Little Pony In Farmville.
And long may CCP ignore those who want EVE converted into such.
