made the as it turns out big mistake of popping 2 edencom combat site ships in high sec … I mine and do PI mostly with just casual level 1 and 2 combat sites … now when i go to mine an asteroid belt , I’m instantly targeted … other than going to Povchen witch i do not have any interest in doing , is there anything i can do to turn this around … thx
- swap into an empty clone
- fit long range frigate or destroyer (50+ km damage range) that can do 2km/s. Preferably use explosive damage. You can do this with 30 dps if need be.
- buy a border filament
- when in pochven space find a rogue drone anomaly, if there’s not one there then check one of the other systems
- warp in at 100km, wait for the frigs to warp in and then close the gap to your dps range, do NOT get within 50km and be ready to keep range once you start firing
- kill them one by one, wait for the standing tick (can take 15 minutes) until you’re positive
- self destruct your ship and pod
Total cost: 2-5 mil
total time : 15-60 minutes depending on your standing
If someone kills you they got a 5 mil frigate kill and no implants, who cares.

Most people think that the solution to their problem is “get better/bigger/more expensive gear”, which makes them apprehensive and risk averse to the point where they just freak out when things are about to go wrong.
The actual solution is “have a plan and keep things cheap and cheerful” to the point where the potential loss is SO inconsequential they can just laugh it off and not care. Funnily enough that also means they panic less which improves their chances of survival.
Fly cheap, give it a go. If you mess up you lost a bit of time and a meaningless amount of isk, no one cares. Try again till you get it done and you will have learned and experienced new stuff in the process.
Here’s a fitting example that even works with a fresh char that trained the required skills to fit it. Does less than 30 dps, works fine. Any other faction’s equivalent is also fine.

I was able to pop a couple of drones , but with-in a min I had a group of griefers on my ass , they chased me all over the system , finally caught up to my ship where i was nuited , scrammed and bubbled , and before they destroyed my ship i was given the 30 sec stare of death from 50 feet from my ship , It was actually hilarious how serious they took to blowing up my 4 mil Tristin … …

And that is the point I was trying to make. Fly stuff you can afford to lose without it hurting you or your ego and then go do “scary stuff” without worries or stress.
Also know that you did this in the weekend so you’re going to run into more people. I’ve done this a whole bunch of times on all kinds of low SP characters (back when we still needed positive standing), I’ve never ran into real trouble other than some destroyer warping into my anomaly, and that only happened a few times.

You need a Poch Pass.
Thats why you need a cheap ship like a rail cormorant or the heron. I dont think you even need to kill, more like target paint etc. Kill one or two ships and move around a lot and that’ll get you up there
