Gankers are baddies even some miners who like to gank.

I remember them as well! It took a bit of talking them into it, but they knew better how to avoid combat after the experience.

I think the training process went into too much details resulting in Miners learning the end game after lesson 2 or into lesson 3 and then decided to return back to the real end game that mattered which is mining and taking out who is in the way which most days are just the NPC’s stealing a favioute mining spot.
True now, but not back then.

I loved that series, I watched the first one back in the 80’s and was hooked. The next day at work I was telling someone about it, and said, then the girl got raped by the woods. They asked me who raped her? The woods! It was a very strange and scary movie. I was more into horror flicks back then, Hellraiser, The Thing, and Evil Dead. All those used real effects no computer animations what-so-ever.

Are capsuleer baddies? I think when you are dealing with a character that is near immortal. Bad and nice become terms that are a little hazy on the edges. Mike Magic School Bus is good, but is it. After all he is helping a new capsuleer with ships, ect. That while may not be used for anything more innocuous than mining..
But that same capsuleer could go on to do other things. Such as being a pirate. Mike makes no judgment calls on who he gives what to. He simply hands it out. Does that Mike a bad guy now.. Or take me.. I am an industrialist that makes and sell things to both miners and ganker. Really to anyone with Isk, I have been told that I am a Filthy Arms Merchant. That still amuses me.
Am I a baddy? I guess to that poster I am. But let’s return to are capsuleers baddies. As near immortals with itchy trigger fingers. Willing to not shoot each other out of the sky and anything else. Any civilian that venture out into the space or is planet bound. I would guess that for those that are directly involved with capsuleers were can be baddies.
For a planet bound average civilians that has no connection to capsuleers. A capsuleer might represent a near god that has a penchant for violence and maybe a few abilities that are not understood. To such a person a capsuleer would be an enigma. Something outside of his/her experience.
For those that are in of the one of the various navies. I would suspect that capsuleers are a two volatile two edged sword. Sometimes a baddy. Sometimes a an ally to have around.
In the end I would say a capsuleer being a baddy would be whom you are talking to and what that capsuleer did. Good and bad become words that depend more on context. Than what the actual words would imply.
I’m only bad if a player is lazy or feels entitled for just showing up. I regularly paid back players far more than their loss for admitting they made a mistake or asked how I caught them.
Does that make me a baddie as well?

There are no goodies in EVE. Not a single one. Every single person has their hands dirty either in combat or the processes that lead to combat. The ‘I’m just a miner’ type is ultimately mining stuff that goes to make ships that kill…and the same can be said of any hauler. There is none righteous…not one.

All a matter of perspective. I used to play WoD and had a werewolf character. There are no good guys. Just monsters pretending to be good guys. Capsuleers are not really any different in that regard. Near immortals beings that are more post human than human.
So are capsuleers baddies? Strictly speaking yes and no. But no capsuleer is going to be canonized as an Amarrian saint any time soon either. Capsuleer are the monsters of New Eden. Some do not see themselves as baddies. Other do not care one way or the other. The Signal Cartel Rescues stranded capsuleers. Katie Sai is president of Signal Cartel. She is a legend with a statue. Her claim to fame of having visited to every system in New Eden plus J space. Is she a baddie? Probably, maybe. Wouldn’t know.
