CCP want me a returning player to pay almost 2Billion to retrieve my rorq and hulks from asset safety, this is easily one of the worst “Game Mechanics” i’ve ever seen, its also a bit of a piss take to returning players whom have been inactive for years.
CCP already generates enough money through the various crap micro tansactions for skins and crap, i wonder why they feel the need to penalise players who return to the game and have to buy plex to make isk to retrieve ships that have taken months and sometimes years not only to get into but to aquire (Only for CCP to nerf the ■■■■ out of them the second you aquire a ship)
I’m not clear why anyone’s assets should be any ‘safer’ placed in a player owned station than they’d be if just left there hanging in space for a year. Player owned stations get destroyed…why shouldn’t the assets within also be ?
So what you’re saying is that asset safety should be removed and if the citadel you have your stuff in blows up your assets are spilled out into space for anyone to pick up.
This is why CCP shouldn’t cater to the crybaby casual players seeking a single player game. CCP can’t ever satisfy your need for coddling and there’s no end in sight for the whining.
One can hope that with these next round of Structure reworks that CCP will remove asset safety at least for Low Powered structures.
And on top of that, you’ll be criticized for not liking the fact that you first had to generate billions for a ship and had to choose between losing it or having it sit behind a paywall by the players themselves. Don’t take it too personally. Standard mobile game practices.
Indeed…I don’t see why Citadels should have some asset protection that no other player owned object in Eve has. Why should those with vast enough ISK to own citadels have some special protection for their vast assets…whilst the common plebs get ganked on a daily basis without such ‘safety’ protection for what they are carrying. One rule for the rich…etc.
CCP are just inviting players to partake in RMT just to get their ships out of asset safety i feel, and you right being ostrichised for complaining about assets i’ve already spent years not only skilling into but also earning the in game currency to actually buy being hidden behind a paywall is absolute bollocks. couple that with the fact that the game has been nigh unplayable in the past 36 hours due to being dced every 5 minutes isnt helping my mood with this game. and when i place support tickets in for that they are blatantly ingored by the dev/gm team or whatever the assholes who run this game decide to call themselves this week.
I agree completely. Asset safety is a terrible mechanic and robs players of their hard earned isk. By that logic I suggest that we completely remove asset safety. The destroying force that pops your structures is entitled to the juicy lot inside.
This is another thing i hate about this game on my return, the entitled PVP jock asssholes that are the most coddled player base in the game spoting off stupid BS comments like this, this game used to be balanced then a few years ago CCP decided that if you didnt pvp you didnt matter and you type of dickheads became there sole focus, pvp jocks need to remember that you dont get any ships without the people who enjoy the market/mining/ratting side of things, and that if you arent fracking careful CCP will damage this game to the point where the only place you’ll be able to replace you blingy ■■■■ toy ships is through micro transactions from them, killing the game entirely, so whilst your comments are always welcome please try and have an actual none dickhead take TIA
I never understood why people think the big pvpers and the biggest industrialists are different people. You think the guy cruising around .9 sec in his retriever is the backbone of this game somehow? How you checked out the economic reports for just Delve alone? The guy with the Rorqual and 13 hulks is the same guy multiboxing 5 logis in a fleet and the same guy throwing 15 catalysts at the auto piloted no tank freighter.
