Attributes are pointless

Guys, this is a Wendy’s.

AI is in the real world. I have been trying to stick with canon. Unlike the other poster.

Going strictly by canon. The entire process is not really disclosed. What I know is that the clone DNA is from the Capsuleer original body. That depending on theoretically there is no real limit on clones that can be grown? made? created anyways..

While I have not really read much on the process. It would seem to still be a work in progress. With advancements that occur from time to time. Are capsuleers human. Again I think that yes we are human.

But that comes back to what is human. Here is something to consider. Is anyone on this side of the collapsed wormhole still considered to be human? It has been 10,000 years or so since anyone has seen anyone from Earth.

Would any one in New Eden still be considered human? Or anyone from Earth still be human? Presuming that somehow a person from Earth find their way here or vice versus. Would either recognize the other as being human?

And I appreciate that. I should have added an emoji because my response about hallucinations was more tongue-in-cheek.

I don’t see why not. 10,000 years isn’t very long in evolutionary terms. “Modern” homo sapiens have been around for at least 250k-300k years, and other than being a little taller now due to better nutrition, we aren’t significantly different from our early ancestors. And that was after what many believe was a population bottleneck around 80k years ago. If that event happened, it must have put evolutionary pressure on the human species. The EVE Gate collapse would have done similar, but at least by that point, the human population of New Eden was spread across many worlds.

Now, as for off-shoots like the Drifters and Triglavians? I’m not so sure they’re “human” anymore.

Okay. I’m going to need you to plug in a Cybernetic Subprocessor - Improved before we take this discussion any further.

Basic biology is such a ■■■■ show. At least according to my son. He teaches biology at a university. Mutations happen more than most think. Consider that we on this side of the collapsed wormhole are the descendants of those that made it past through the initial panic and later surviving those dark days. 10,000 years could be enough time for genetic drift to start happening.

Without knowing what the environment looks like on Earth’s side. The reality is we just do not know what genetic drift has occured in adapting to a post collapsed wormhole on their side.

As I recall the tech for what allows us all to live and thrive in a pod had to be adapted. The genetic enhancements that the Drifters indulge in. makes it as alien tech as one can get. Which does argue that the Drifters, Sleepers, and the Trig are most likely post human.

I think I am going to need one of those Cybernetic Subprocessor - Improved as well..

Okay just to end the debate, I went to each station that has a jump clone of mine and had them each upgrade my clone from that of a human to that of an artificial lifeform. Now all of my clones (including my current one) are androids. They’re better anyway. No more eating, drinking, or going to the bathroom. My escape pod’s internal capacitor is more than enough to power all of my systems.

I guess I should now update my profile pic.

There’s a giant radiation cloud.
Everybody is dead.

I am guessing your crystal ball told you that..

Actually, yes.

An android is robot that looks like a human.

Your clones are human clones, that you give them some armor and replace the jaw and arms with prosthetic implants, doesn’t change them to originally have been made as robots, they are organic bodies with implants.

No, it only appears that way. We are machine all the way through.
