Been away from the game a LONG time. What do I do?

Turn around.

The game is NOT what you played before. Not even remotely.

It somehow coddles more and is more overcomplicated… simultaneously.

Does not respect your time or money.

Same boat - had a char since 2003. Been 10yrs since I played with any serious intent, iirc.

My plan was to sell this char to find a brand new noob character but I got cold feet and am basically doing starter career agent stuff with my aged character to learn some of the basic ropes.

I took a little road trip around some of the major hubs and man the nostalgia hit was unreal.

My favourite thing to do was ratting/agent ratting so I’m going to work myself up to that.

Edit; And I don’t want any love…

My recomendation would be start Tranquil and work your way up. Get back in tune with ship combat and fits etc. There is an abyss lurker channel in game and the people are very helpful without too much arrogance.
