Best Navy Cruiser for t3 and t4 as alpha

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on choosing a Navy Issue cruiser that can reliably run T3 and eventually T4 Abyssal as an Alpha clone.

I’m willing to train for 2–3 months to get the skills needed, so I’m not necessarily looking for something I can jump into immediately. I’d rather invest the time into a solid long-term setup.

Ideally, I’m looking for something that:

  • Works well within Alpha clone skill restrictions
  • Can comfortably handle T3 Abyssals and potentially T4s
  • Has a reasonable balance of DPS, tank, and application
  • Can be used as a long-term PvE ship rather than something I’ll immediately outgrow

I’m open to different weapon systems and factions. I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have actually run Abyssals with Alpha characters.

Thanks in advance!

None.

But as suggested above, pirate faction cruisers can. Gila is the obvious choice, but as an alpha, for T4 abyssal, you will probably be limited to Exotic, and it WILL be a challenge.

You can check in-game for the character Atlas Kitsun bio (I’m not related). You will find skill plans and fits. You can also search for his youtube page (same name) where you’ll find 40ish runs in the alpha fit he suggest.

And, join the in-game channel Abyssal Lurkers, where you’ll find additional ressources in the MOTD… and people.
